Seagull took my City Worker off the surface of the water , I brought him in to the net, but he broke off trying to get him into the net because we wanted to get the fly out of him. He flew away seemingly fine with my freshly tied fly .
have a RIO Scandi Short 240gr. If still looking $55.00. Hasn’t been used much due to the fact I don’t use the rod I bought it for much, so still in like new condition.
Ya, I went for a drive & saw the same thing. RV’s everywhere. I’ve been fishing up there for 20+ years & came away with the thought that this maybe my last trip.
First Fly Rod ever was an Orvis Far & Fine, which I still have, Rod Building Class, & Fly Fishing school with a manual to keep, which I still have also.
Great Memories, Thank you to all the staff over the years.
Unfortunately not all who do this will get this message, it's Kayakers, Splash & Gigglers in rubber toys, not always drift boats, but good on you to get it out there again.
I bought Redingtons, less than a year old started leaking, sent away for warranty repair, couldn't replace, full money back, which went to a pair of Simms & love them. The Redingtons were nice, comfy, & great warranty, but not as tough as the Simms.
Recently went through the same issue & the LOCAL FLY SHOP had a lot more selection for different sizes & found the perfect fit, it took me trying on something like 6 different wader & different brands but walked away happy.
I have been using the OPST Laser running line. I haven't caught anything except trout, but I like the way it comes off the reel, shoots really nice & it seems to be easy enough to grip. It's pricy though, at least up here.
