I don't think that's the stuff that pisses people off. It's when people do things in the launch when they could have done it elsewhere.

Yeah people are ridiculous. I was waiting to take my boat out at BH and these guys made sure to get ahead of me and load their pontoons....then proceed to sit there, change out of their gear, take down the rods, take a piss, grab a snack etc etc while in the launch.

Mostly the spotting pattern. Cutties have heavy spots near the tail and then become sparse toward the head. Slash under the jaw, rosy pink sides (rather than belly), and to a lesser degree, its length. cuttys are mostly short and fat. The other hint is the hot fight it probably put up. I find that Any "cutty" I hook that is surprisingly hot (or a surprisingly voracious eater) tends to be a cuttbow.

Yeah just trying to help. I'm still wondering if buying a midrange pair, warranteeing them once, buying a new pair every 2-3 years is a better option than buying high end ones. I spent 800 on a pair of g4s and I probably spent two days dry in those things in 3 or 4 seasons. I probably fish 30 days a season in waders, with previous seasons being more walk and wade focused. My interpretation of the drop was that it was a bit cooler the last few days. Peak flows lasts a couple weeks, not a few days (even though it's already felt like forever.) If you look at the snowpacks, there is still a ton of water up there (high average) at most of the stations.

In touch is just Lower stretch from what I recall. Just buy the cheaper one as long as the taper is good.

When recommending waders, it would be helpful if Guys clarify what a season is to them. "I got 10 years out of mine." Well, if you fish out of a drift boat twice a year, that's not that impressive. Conversely, if you walk and wade (in your waders) 30 days a year, that's a different story.

We'd go under every rapid we hit. That being said those are monster rapids. They'd swallow a 14 foot raft and it would come up 200 feet downstream!

Guess they're just going to wait for someone to die before pulling those two boulders out. Is that displaced rip rap? If so, that could be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Why stress about it. Just call it in. Worst case scenario fng doesn't come and they poach a couple trout. Best case scenario they get busted, you end up with a few hundred bucks in your pocket and feel great that they got caught.

No, The line otherwise is essentially new. Bought it August of last summer if I recall correctly. If I had to guess, It's probably got 30ish days on it. The coating cracked and then started to peel back at the junction of the loop and mainline. Stress point I guess--one side is stiffer than the other, so it bends a lot at that point. If it's not that issue is the mono from your perfection loop cutting into the coating and wrecking it. I just took some 30lb maxima and did a nail knot and a perfection loop and then joined that to my 30lb butt section. Haven't tried it yet, but looks nice anyhow.
