My 3.4L V6 4Runner was rated to tow 5000lbs. My travel trailer weighs ~3000lbs when loaded and in the wind and on the hills it struggled big time. Had to rev the p!ss out of it to keep it up to the speed limit on the highway. Around town wasn't bad at all though. These tow ratings are funny.. if 3000 pounds was that sketchy, the full 5000 must be real fun!

I only have 3 rods to begin with.. a 3, 6, and 8.. Haven't used the 8 at all yet. I use the 6 on the Bow primarily.. the 3 when i'm feeling adventurous.
