  1. Hey BROWSTONE, I like the look of our boys! Habs can skate and then some. When they even outhit Boston, look out. I like our shot in the East. GO HABS GO!!!!!!
  2. What is good for the economy is the fact the government requires this inspection which in turn gives rise to needed employment . VERY NEEDED. Mechanics, canadian Tire, parts stores, etc. Then people can EAT. I have the same opinion of government as most, but, in this case it is a good thing. Keeps the crap of the road which is part of the theme in this thread. Bad drivers are everywhere.
  3. Good on you and Outcast Russ! Owning an Outcast boat this is good info.
  4. One big difference is in N.S. the government makes you get a vehicle inspection every year or is it two? Out here it depends on what your insurance company requires. ie. Lots of junk with bald tires on road. It keeps a lot of the misfits off the road and pumps some needed $$$$ into the local economy.
  5. I read that many moons ago also. I found it at the public lireary along with a lot of other gooders. Great book!
  6. Nice pics and report. I took my family out to FC on sunday around 11 and my 4 year old could not wait to get the Shakespear Spiderman in the water. We only fished for an hour and managed 2 whites and a bow as my 2 year old, who did not want to stay in the wagon any longer was making for the river. Very fun indeed. I enjoy it on the Crow even more as everything is downsized for them.
  7. Being a Caper I will also mention the Margaree in the Highlands of CB. Beautiful river and has nice runs of salmon. A lot will depend on water levels during your visit. If there is a bit of rain, get out as the fish will move up. Get to a pool early as it is a rotaional thing starting at 6 AM. First through the pool has a good crack at a fish. Albert Jenkins is a local guide in the area and it should not be difficult to find him through the locals. Funny how I grew up an hour away from Margaree and rarely fished it and now would love this opportunity. Did get there twice in the past 4 years and landed a nice grisle last time out. Hard doing the trip now with 2 little guys and the better half. Next year for me. Good luck!

  15. No Sharkskin for me. GPX again and happy.
  16. Headscan The guy at the C tire gas bar in Shawnessey does a good job. had many filled there in the past 3 years and all have lasted. He is honest and even told me of some that did not need filling as they were surface chips and not going to crack. he was right. 20 bucks for the first and 10 after for each I think.
