  1. If you read the fine print below that, it said for Canadians to call directly for a quote. Maybe they have special deals for Canadian residents. Won't know unless you call :-)
  2. Nice fish!
  3. I had this same issue happen on my Sonic Pro Waders that I bought through Fish Tales. I had Reddington Warranty them directly for me once for leaks. I then contacted them about the zipper as it would just buckle and come undone. Talked to Dave at Fish Tales and they had them replaced for me with the new ones. The zipper issue has been around for a while. So, I would contact Reddington directly, as I don't think you are in Calgary and have easy access to Fish Tales to have them do it for you, and see what they will do. Reddington, for me, has been a dream to deal with, so contact them right away.

  5. Coincidentally enough, the reason I am selling it is because I just got myself a Helios2 in a 10'0" 7wt to replace it. I stand by that rod though. It really is a beautiful build.
  6. Oh, I didn't miss the point. I was just scratching their itch is all :-)
  7. Here you go guys. All the humblefisherman videos you can handle ;-) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChXthAoCViZdjvsW3oLtJHg
  8. Some spectacular fish there bud! Awesome!
  9. Ice for a week?? Damn! Coulda used that bad boy when we went salmon fishing in BC and were in the middle of nowhere (literally) for four days....all our ice melted and the beer got warmish lol Still can't drink 1516......
  10. I suppose that's true. Guy has to have cold beer when on a drift. I think it's a law or something.
  11. Don't have one, but have heard enough good things about them that I know they are bomb proof. I just can't justify that kind of money just to keep my beer cold lol
  12. The only advice that I can give is to try treating your presentation cast no differently than a false cast. Once you stop the rod and let the loop roll out, just lower the tip of the rod and allow the line to land. I too sometimes get too excited an try to get the fly out there asap and that's when my trajectory gets too low and I start slamming the water. Sometimes, letting the line roll out is easier said than done lol
  13. I would basically echo what danhunt said. Once the line and leader are completely rolled out, it doesn't matter the speed of the rod as only the weight of the line/leader/fly is what is landing on the water. If you cast like Hank Peterson and snap it like its hot and slam the fly on the water, then, yeah, I guess it would cause more of a disturbance lol Darrin
  14. I have the 8'6" BVK in a 5wt that I use specifically for dries on the Bow. I absolutely love it. So much in fact that I now have a 8'0" 3wt for the mountain streams. If you want to try it out, give me a shout and we can set some time up one morning/weekend and I'll let you give her a cast. If you like the Signature Series, you're likely gonna love the BVK. I had the 8'6" 5wt Signature Series when I upgraded to the BVK.
  15. Welcome to the Board!
  16. Just a quick reminder that licenses expire today! Don't for get to renew! http://www.albertarelm.com/
  17. A teacher asks her class, 'If there are 5 birds sitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how many will be left?' She calls on little Ralphy. He replies, 'None, they will all fly away with the first gunshot.' The teacher replies, 'The correct answer is 4, but I like your thinking..' Then little RALPHY says, 'I have a question for YOU. There are 3 women sitting on a bench having ice cream: One is delicately licking the sides of the triple scoop of ice cream. The second is gobbling down the top and sucking the cone. The third is biting off the top of the ice cream. Which one is married?' The teacher, blushing a great deal, replied, 'Well, I suppose the one that's gobbled down the top and sucked the cone.' To which Little RALPHY replied, 'The correct answer is 'the one with the wedding ring on,' but I like your thinking.'
  18. I have the William Joseph Exodus pack and it's great for the all day fishing outings. Plenty of room for all my gear, lunch, rain jacket, water bladder, etc. Love it for those long days on the water. For short trips, like a couple hours, I have a Simms headwaters waist pack. When there is no need for all that extra gear, I find the waist pack to be much better suited. For me anyway.
  19. Don't forget, your Albert Fishing Licenses run out this month too. You can purchase them online (easiest) here: http://www.albertarelm.com/
  20. That Rainbow is a BEAST! Well done Jared! Looks like you're having a great time!
  21. Either that or Idaho.
  22. Rest In Peace Barry. You will be missed.
