  3. this is a easy and very productive alternative to the ehc. i tie it with deer hair sizes 12 to 18. usually no legs. best floater ever. butch caddis - kelly galloup
  4. X2 Also WD40 removes the glue, but the smell is offensive to women.
  5. I am a big fan of GSP threads. Gel spun poly. I use the 60 and 100 denier. It has issues though. without the norvice, it is tough to dub, and you need a sharp blade ( on your scissors) to cut it. hold under tension and slice with the blade - just a normal cut doesnt. Tough to break. denier measurement is way easier to understand.

  11. Two Norwegians are drinking in a bar. One says, "Did you know that Elks have sex 10 to 15 times a day?" "Aww, *hit," says his friend, "and I just joined the Knights of Columbus!"
  12. Kudos to murray for coordinating the volunteers and to Superfly for supplying the wooly bugger materials for kids to tie.
  13. last summer I picked up a pair of Simms riprap wading shoes. Wore them with neoprene socks. They were great. Only drawback is that they wont accept studs (despite what the salesman at the store said) However, the rubber is indeed grippy on the oldman slime, and they are good to walk the rocks and hillsides with.
  14. X2 for both suggestions - a muse cuts down on the frustration immensley, and Hyatt is a good instructor
  15. ht foam body stones - uses the foam that soccer players (usually girls) tie up ponytails with. Tried it last summer - floats good on its own, but waterlogs after the first six fish. Gink it and it lasts at least a dozen. My daughter (37) likes them with legs. I haven't proven that it catches more fish. Oldman, with a PT dropper. I like them isn 12 to 16, but she wanted some BIG. these are #6.
