  1. We just had Brekinridge do our pad and sidewalk. I can't say enough good things about these guys the communication was amazing the crews were professional their sales guy was in constant communication throughout the project. I got the quote fast and it was very competitive with others and they got the work done in a timely Manner. I got them to do exposed aggregate it looks great. I'm in construction (0 affiliation with these guys they don't know me from Adam) they are true professionals.
  2. Nice Fish! Hey i was hoping to get out this week to do some fishing and was wondering where you were fishing? I don't need the exact location just the name of the lake. Feel free to PM me and i'll post it up later with some pictures. Thanks. P.S- What cha using.... worms?..... REAL trout have black spots.
  3. You were SOOOOOO close to being part of the zombie fish club! Better luck next time!!
  4. micheals has the one with the magnify glass and rotating tray 40% off picked one up today.
  5. All good advise given x1 to all.
  6. Sometimes i pee in the river....
  7. I dont get it what kind of tricks are you filming there!! You mean the fish dont give a piss about the Jet boats! Then why are there so many fishermen on the BOW who cant catch fish after a jet boat goes by? hmmm weird the fish on the Bow river must be different. Also the speed at which that boat went by was INSANE! I bet if he went really slow created a huge wake dragged the bottom it would have been much better. by the way NICE FISH!!!! Edit: All kidding aside I too have seen some real Losers on the Bow like the guy who in the fall jets up the run drops and drags his ancor down the river and pulls Browns off their Redds..... i want to punch that guy in the face...but I've seen some real sweet moves by drift boats floating down a side channels they have no bussiness floating because of their size. Point being and it's already been made several times here it comes down to the operator not the watercraft. A point that i did find interesting was looking at a limitation on the size of watercraft allowed.
  8. nice ties! I should be doing the same thing i always put it off and then end up buying my flies and mooching off friends.
  9. Story Time....... Im out with Tungsten on his Jet Boat we pull up to the shore and anchor up he gets out his rod throws his streamer in the water 5 feet off the side of the boat while he gets a few things to get it out of the way goes to pick up his rod and ALIKAZZZZZAM! Effin Wizard hooks up with a 16 inch Brown. Right beside the boat that just pulled in with the motor humming. Jet boats DO NOT scare the fish away they are part of their environment.....I know this has nothing to do with the point of the original post just had to share the story...Blew my effin mind mang!.
  10. they have been around for a few weeks now i saw lots of them doing their thing and females with their egg sacks a couple weeks ago lots of them around and active..
  11. HA HA HA this made me shoot water out my nose i laughed so hard.....nice burn......
  12. if your looking at a boat for long backcountry trips you should take a look at an Alpacka.
  13. ive had korkers, chota and Simms my vote goes to Simms the are superior in every category. IMO.
  14. Government Investigates Rancher The Idaho Department of Employment, Division of Labor Standards claimed a small rancher was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an agent out to investigate him. GOV’T AGENT: “I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them.” RANCHER: ”Well, there’s my hired hand who’s been with me for 3 years. I pay him $200 a week plus free room and board. Then there’s the mentally challenged guy. He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of all the work around here. He makes about $10 per week, pays his own room and board, and I buy him a bottle of bourbon every Saturday night so he can cope with life. He also sleeps with my wife occasionally.” GOV’T AGENT: “That’s the guy I want to talk to - the mentally challenged one.” RANCHER: “That would be me.”
  15. WHAT THIS IS BS! Dave i know some VERY influential people in Parliament and will be making a phone call to Mr Harper today. Also if you don't have a good Lawyer i am personal friends with Matlock and since his T.V series ended i think i could convince him to take your case at a very reasonable price, this is an outrage!
  16. Ok guys we need to have a show down this Saturday in a new spot a fresh run that I haven't been to in years that I'm sure you guys haven't had the chance to scout either spot #2846. FISH OFF! This Saturday!
  17. You could call that a noobie mistake hahahah
  18. if your going to pick just one rod...... If your new to flyfishing a 6wt will be easier to cast and land fish for the Boow River. You have to decide where your going to do the majority of your fishing. For the Bow River i wouldn't get anything but a 6wt (if your new) also newer fly fishermen tend to nymph a lot its easier and very effetive. A 6wt will work well for you for other midsized rivers aswell. As you get into flyfishing more you will probably find different purposes for different wt of rods. Your 6 wt will become your streamer nymphing stick. You will want to buy a slower action softer 5wt for dry flys on the bow. You will want to get a 3 wt for smaller creeks and the mountains. You will also find yourself carrying 2 rods around to most places that you fish. Then one day your wil have 20 different rods in our garge and you will realize its time to get some help for your problem. But for now i would start out with a 6wt no question.
