Old Guys... I was in Canadian Tire the other day pushing my cart around when I collided with a young guy pushing his cart. I said to the young guy, "Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife and I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." The young guy says, "That's OK. It's a coincidence. I'm looking for my wife, too. I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate. I said, "Well, maybe we can help each other. What does your wife look like?" The young guy says, "Well, she is 24 years old, tall, with blond hair, big blue eyes, long legs, big boobs, and she's wearing tight white shorts, a halter top and no bra. What does your wife look like?" I said, "Doesn't matter --- let's look for yours." Us old guys are helpful like that.

A man is stopped by the police around 1 a.m. and is asked where he is going at this time of night. The man replies, "I am going to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the negative effects it has on one's health and the many problems it causes for one's family". The officer then asks, "Really? Who is giving a lecture like that at this time of night?" The man replies... "My wife."

I own a 3 wt RPL+ that I've been known to fish with a WF5F on occasion. Does this make me a pervert?

Tough question to answer having never cast any Echo or even knowing your casting style or your ability to adjust to different materials and taper design.

New Family Pics L to R 2 pre Browning Silaflexs, a Ted Williams, 5 Phillipsons, 2 Don Andersen assembled Winston/Fishers and 2 L Kenneys
-
I own a few modern glass rods , L Kenney's but I know very little about other current offerings. Here's a good resource for those inquiries . http://fiberglassflyrodders.com/forum/ . They really are a helpful bunch, a lot of knowledge about classic glass as well. Myself I'm slowing paring down my classic glass collection but I have a pronounced soft spot for anything Phillipson specially lighter line Phillipsons. A two tipped Phillipson Registered MIdge in good++ shape is my holy grail rod. Anyone reading this that has one I'll give you 5 bills for it. I really should take a new family picture. It's changed a bunch since then.

Current rod count 13 fiberglass (mostly vintage) one on order, 9 graphite all of them built in the last millennium. 2 yrs ago I sold 6 short (7' and under) Phillipsons to a flyfisherman from Malaysia
-
I own a few. Kenneys, Winston/Fishers, Phillipsons, Sears Roebuck Ted Williams and pre-Browning Silaflex Medallions. Fiberglass is about all I fish anymore it seems

Thanks Mike, should keep the old fat boy pretty much in one spot for the duration

Yeah it gonna work Don. Runnin' the anchor up snug to the scotty will minimize any rubbin'. Bigger anchor come in just under 13lbs and the little lead one is just over 6. If I can get around to buildin' a mold I may convert the little one to a pyramid style.
