That'n been that way for a year. Supposed to be fixed to the falls sometime this summer. Above the falls I have no idea, its SLS responsibility. There's 2 highend 5th wheelers sittin' 10 km above the falls since last June.
Flood predictions are about downgraded somewhat because of overly enthusiastic forecasts of rainfall amounts and areas. Still kinda soaked though.
One plus. I found Alberta Rivers app for iOS and Android. Kinda handy
Ah hell,.. don't think I've got anything figgered when it comes to friggin lakes, i think it just happened... you know, like *hit happens....may need more flies though.
Way too friggin' many! Showed up at a reservoir today carryin' maybe 4-500 flies and 2 rods. Changed flies once on each rod and caught a couple dozen fish on a single generic searching pattern in 3 hrs.
Could be but the high catch rates they're braggin' on makes me think there's a helluva lot of fish in there since "someone" introduced the rainbows and the scuds only15 yrs ago. Very cold water + excellent feed source + year round spawning = high survivability with a bejesus boatload of fish.
I like to know the age of some of those bigger fish. I'd almost bet they've 10 year olds or over.
A trip to check'er out would be a hoot though but I ain't goin' unless I win the lottery and that would mean I'd hafta start buyin' tickets
Edit; forgot No Natural Predators
I used it on a beer thieving black bear and a couple of pissed off holstein bulls........all of them departed in a helluva hurry and seemed to learn a life lesson or two.
What you do with your old Gs Dave? I think I'd kill to own a 6 wt G specially on days my 6wt Sages don't put me in a very happy place.
Ex-Scott man Larry Kenney has a line of glass rods that are sweethearts. I fish a 4 and a 5 of his.
That one you bought Kyle, is the one I kept breakin'. To this day I don't know what I was doin' wrong that rod didn't like, probably just a run of poor luck, bad planning.
