  3. Hey tiers, I had this fly in my box, not sure how I got it, or how long it has been in there for. It is about a size 26 and was one of the only flies that produced for me this weekend. Can anyone ID this fly pattern? Is it a small Klinkhammer? Any tips for tying a fly this small? Thanks!

  13. Haha, you're not going to want me to tag along.. the bow has not been friendly to me for 13 months...
  14. I'm glad you posted this because I'm also looking at getting some sort of sinking line for lakes. Any recommendations if I had to go with one type of sinking/intermediate/sink tip line?
  15. Thanks for the replies guys... Muha, I'd like to say a trip to the foothills would be priority #1, but with a newborn I'm stuck to 2 hour or less sessions. So the 5 min drive to the bow, or 5 min walk with a belly boat to the lake is appealing to me. Got a question for ya though, Do the 2 hr boating restrictions apply to your personal watercrafts? ie. A belly boat or a canoe. Also, the $900 a year is for "shore access", do you know what that entails? It's not very clear on their site. BA, Good tips. We were meeting with the builder to discuss financing, sale of our current home, moving, etc. I'm thinking if we decide to finance with them it would lock us into a good rate for a long time , including the time it takes to build the place. We're looking at a possession date in September, so 5 months, which would work very well with our work schedules. As for the commute, it's 28ish minutes from Evergreen right now, so moving there would actually be faster to get to work down deerfoot at during my commute times (25ish mins at earlier times than the rush hours).
  16. I'm looking at building a house in Auburn Bay and I'm just wondering what other people/anglers think of the community. Seems like it has it all if you don't mind being far from downtown!
  17. I have owned (and lost) many pairs of Oakley polarized and prescription polarized sunglasses. They are fantastic in my opinion. I've tried a few different colours but have found the "bronze polarized" coloured lens works the best.
  18. Link the video!
