I just bought my first box this past season and got a split foam angled one... It's ok, but really doesn't have the depth for lots of dries.

Not sure if you have good vision care benefits, but downtown vision care has always been great for my prescription sunglasses orders. Over the years I've purchased numerous pairs from them and have always been satisfied. My fave for fishing though have always been the oakleys. They make your prescription polars in their factory and then shop them to you're doc.. They are the clearest lenses I've ever owned!!

Had a great time with a buddy tonight.. Until I stepped on his rod and broke the tip when landing one of these browns.. First bow was 17", second was 19", landed a 3rd around 17", my buddy hooked a 19" bruni... Then came the monster, a 24" PB Brown!!! Thought I hooked into a snag, then my drag started screaming! We landed him way further down the shoreline then from where I hooked him. Check out the kype on that beauty! Finished the 22" brown = Best night on the bow this year!!!

Hey All, I'm fairly new to the fly fishing game and I've been using a combination of my grampas vintage set, a broken and returned cabela's combo, and my friends 6wt Sage/Pfluger setup. I saved up some money and I placed an order for the Sage Vantage combo from Wholesale Sports here in Calgary. They had one in stock (apparently) but they have since misplaced the reel from that combo... But that's a whole other bag of frustration that I'll leave for another post. Anyways, now I'm in the hunt for a quality setup and I need some help. Could anyone make a recommendation for a setup that would cost me from $300-400 with rod, reel, fly line and backing... and maybe a carrying case too! I've heard the Lamson Konic, White River Fly, and the Sage 1800 reels are a good bang for your buck. And I was contemplating a TFO rod as it's easy to get rod replacements. Any help is greatly appreciated!
