As long as your heat exchanger on your original furnace is good, you can keep it going. You probably need a thermocouple for your pilot light issue....you can use ATF fluid to lube your belt on the furnace motor to stop the squeaking, and you will see a lube fitting where you can oil the bearing on the fan shaft. Change your filter every 8 weeks in the heating season. Furnace motors are not expensive to buy on your own and replace. The markup on furnaces and installations is very high. As Tungsten says, finding someone in the HVAC field, or a plumber who can do some sheet metal work if needed is the way to go. I had an HVAC guru friend help my change out mine a few years ago. Went to high effeciency. Made a difference on the gas bill, but not as dramatic as I had hoped. We had to do some intake damper work as well to make it work better, and the returns had to be reworked.

Thanks to all who came to the event last night. Approx 120 folks attended and enjoyed each others company and many shot glasses of rum were raised in Gord's memory. (Gord's three favorite rum's were supplied) Much friendship and food was in evidence and many memories were shared. 300 plus dollars was raised for Gord's SPCA Charity. A great laid back fun evening, and one Gord would have very much approved of.......

Just a quick note to add, There has been an event organized for this coming Tuesday, October 22 at 6pm till 10. The venue is Jack Astors on Macleod Trail and Southland Drive SW. It's for whomever wants to go, friends, fishing buddies, customers, guides who worked with Gord, or those who just want to show up and remember a guy who was the Bow River's advocate and friend. There will be a small fee, $10 bucks at the door, which will cover appetizers, of which there will be plenty. Jack Astors is stepping out to help put on a great night. For more info on this event, just call West Winds Fly Shop 403 -278-6331 P.S. For those of you who may not have heard, Gord's funeral scheduled for this Saturday at 2pm at the McINNIS & HOLLOWAY Crowfoot Chapel has been postponed at the request of the family.

My Pappy said: "Son, your gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't stop driving that darned red Lincoln" Have you heard the story of the drift boat race, Where the Clackas and Hydes were settin' the pace? Well, the sad story is true I'm here to say, I was really in the way, on that sunny day. That Lincoln's got a chip and a can, it's really souped up, That Hyde towing behind makes it look like a pup. It's got eight rod holders and I use 'em all I rig 'em in the launch, and to hell with you all. Pulled into Police one morning, parking was tight, The sun and sky shining bright. Drove my rig down that hill, Passing Clackas and GMC's, like they were standing still. Now the fella's ribbed me for they were now behind, I'm in the launch area, no hurry to unwind. Now one guide thought I'd lost my sense, slipped by me, slick as a new fence. Can't have that boys, I got in his face, Next thing I know things are blurry, I'm in the wrong place. Next time I'll know, Don't pick a fight with a man who lives to row. Got home early, with a black eye, Momma thought for sure, I'd been into the rye. All Pappy said: "Son your gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't stop driving that darned....red.....Lincoln -
Website Feedback Requested, Please

I think it's really good, many websites are over the top and have complex expanding dropdowns, confusing graphics, and are generally 'overblown'...... IMHO yours is exactly what a website should be, direct, simple to navigate, and gets Deb's message out. I would suggest, that in Deb's profession, a potential client would appreciate these things...... The stepping stones are a perfect graphic as well, very appro and subtle... -

Monterey Park Storage, 2705 84 Street N.E. 403 568 9799.... Great place...completely out of sight from 16 ave Hwy 1....the family lives on the property, and it's like Fort Knox... Talk to the Fraulein that owns it...suggest calling her and making an appt to see her operation..it's pretty amazing. Affordable for a small rig like yours. -
