  1. Hey CJ, I am shocked with what you had to deal with. Glad your ok, I think in the future your company and clients will some back. I'd float with you anytime.....
  2. My Pappy said: "Son, your gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't stop driving that darned red Lincoln" Have you heard the story of the drift boat race, Where the Clackas and Hydes were settin' the pace? Well, the sad story is true I'm here to say, I was really in the way, on that sunny day. That Lincoln's got a chip and a can, it's really souped up, That Hyde towing behind makes it look like a pup. It's got eight rod holders and I use 'em all I rig 'em in the launch, and to hell with you all. Pulled into Police one morning, parking was tight, The sun and sky shining bright. Drove my rig down that hill, Passing Clackas and GMC's, like they were standing still. Now the fella's ribbed me for they were now behind, I'm in the launch area, no hurry to unwind. Now one guide thought I'd lost my sense, slipped by me, slick as a new fence. Can't have that boys, I got in his face, Next thing I know things are blurry, I'm in the wrong place. Next time I'll know, Don't pick a fight with a man who lives to row. Got home early, with a black eye, Momma thought for sure, I'd been into the rye. 3. I think it's really good, many websites are over the top and have complex expanding dropdowns, confusing graphics, and are generally 'overblown'...... IMHO yours is exactly what a website should be, direct, simple to navigate, and gets Deb's message out. I would suggest, that in Deb's profession, a potential client would appreciate these things...... The stepping stones are a perfect graphic as well, very appro and subtle...
  4. Nice location, even coming from the SW, it's only 15-20 mins north on Crow.
  5. Great thread BTW, thanks snuffy for resurrecting!
  6. Great pics...greater adventures....thanks for sharing, amazing!
  7. Actually a better place is called Frankonia RV Storage, call Erika.......Erika with a 'K" http://www.frankoniarvstoragecalgary.ca/ It's an excellent place, just east of town!
  8. Monterey Park Storage, 2705 84 Street N.E. 403 568 9799.... Great place...completely out of sight from 16 ave Hwy 1....the family lives on the property, and it's like Fort Knox... Talk to the Fraulein that owns it...suggest calling her and making an appt to see her operation..it's pretty amazing. Affordable for a small rig like yours.
  9. Interesting comments by Jimmy on Huey Lewis, didn't know he was hardcore... Henry Winkler, very hardcore. Read his new book, down to earth guy......
  10. Barbless...easier on the fish, easier on me.....
  11. Great shots of an awesome trip....going to the mighty Miss in Sept......
  12. 2nd vote for Moore's, great prices and quick, efficient service. '04 Chev/GMC truck, windshield installed....$185.....and it's domestic produced glass, great stuff.

Looks like a pretty good year so far to me, great pics, all of them. Amazing fish too, and scenery well shot...thanks for sharing!
  14. Your probably right about being in the 5000 pictures, and all those flies are now on display on living room trinket shelves from Tokyo to Osaka. You created a untold number of memories Doc, good for you! Amazing scenery...been driving by the turn off for years, now I must visit!
  15. Great post Gil, well named! Thanks for sharing this....
  16. Was at Police Sunday morning at 730. The launch is functional and safe. Saw a couple rigs parked by the road w/empty trailers at that time. It was good to see them there! We walked and waded (tight tight to that bank whoa ninja style), saw new water and saw fish, many stone schucks, saw live stones too, no caddis. Saw the shuttle people doing their thing at 1100 when we left, and that felt good too!
  17. 3 really great shots! Nice work!
  18. In 1980 both the South and North Forks of the Toutle River were destroyed by Mount St Helens. At the time, both fisheries people and fisherman saw the devastation and said that the rivers would not recover in their lifetimes. Based on what the pictures and newreel footage showed, no one disputed this. Yet, the South Fork did recover within a few years, and the North Fork (later) as well. Spirit Lake did too, as early as 1983 there was life in the lake. Not to pre 1980 levels, but the fish did come back to the streams. Hard work by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to control silt and water levels helped, as did the efforts of wildlife groups and other state angencies working hard along side. Anyway, our river is hurt, but it will recover too. Some may be surprised how fast. Nature finds a way.....
  19. Yes Adrienne, your overdue!
