  1. I recall the news caption saying it was motion activated cameras
  2. Good info and great pics. Thx
  3. I had a bull mastiff, but you would need one with no legs for a mid size.
  4. Big changes all over I am sure, but only saw Mac to Carseland. Lots of change, and above the weir is trashed. Conor is right, it is hard to describe without writing a book.
  5. Moore's Auto Glass in ph book, good $$$ and service
  6. Damn, the Bow is not to be messed with hi or low water. Thoughts out to the family, and bless him. PL
  7. I do not know for sure, but the fire dept may accept them.
  8. I was on the river the day the man died from lightning, and not far away. Don't screw with Mother Nature, as she always wins. It makes sense to lay the rod down, but up to this point, i had not broken down my rod, (makes so much sense and did not think of it). So great topic, as it is always good to gather smart info. Play Safe.
  9. Same, or if near by, go to my truck
  10. Thats is what I almost expected, getting stuck that is, good info BCube THX. Hurt my ribs so risk of bogging in and hard launch is not for me right now.
  11. Is MacK, Jensens, or Johnsons open at the gates, and if so which is easiest for now to launch from? If you wish you can PM me info. Thanks
  12. I too was wondering down south where an old fart w a 16 ft jon and motor can launch, without backing half way across the water. Also concerned of bogging down in the truck. By info provided I am thinking Mac but concerned of distance to back in.
  13. The link does not do much, which you tube should it go to?
  14. Ouch, That sucks!
  15. I also very much look forward to the changes. These ones are pretty extreme. As mentioned, time will tell.
  16. Between pics on FFC and BRS, and doing drive by's on Deerfoot, I have noticed serious shelf build ups and drops off the rocks and gravel. How navagable will these be at lower water levels?
  17. After seeing footage of McKinnon, Jenkins and Carseland, aside from fishing when things calm down, I an extemely curious how the river has changed. That ledge drop at Mckinnon looks like very bad news. My first post flood trip will be as much to view the changes as to fish. All be careful out there when you check it out.
  18. I did not get a call back so hopefully they did handle it. I too was concerned in a jon on the river compared to a high wall jet. Will go if they call, but should be okay.
  19. if anyone may be free for Friday and she still needs help, you can pm me with info to contact you. I was hit by a semi a few years ago and back is toast for tossing bales, so if she needs help friday, I could use the help of a body with a good back. Paul
  20. Pete, I just spoke to Janet, and plans changed for me with the bridge collapse. Called to offer my services and as we speak, the Strathmore Fire Dept is there with their jet boat. Janet has my # as they may still need help on Friday. I will also post this on the board so members can see, if she needs help on Friday. Appearantly she is near McKinnon
  21. Isn't TU at the end of the fall, and if so that may be too late for the stranded back waters.
  22. Too bad you may miss out on the Bow. To come all the from Texas and just look is a bugger,(no pun intended). Any way, welcome to Cowtown. Hope you get to a lake that produces for you. If you come back sometime to work, hopefully you will get some nice Bow time in.
  23. Good questions tl, especially the second. I think you have a great idea there, but as you said, is there a legal concern. Maybe the govt would ask a board like FFC to assist with catch and transfer back. I would be a part of that.
