  2. I would be glad to assist in what ever way needed. First Aid and CPR
  3. I will help you drink, and film. Can this type of volunteering be put on a resume?
  4. You must always stay calm in any urgent scenario. Sometimes easier said then done, but with enough training and thought it should be there. Thx for sharing the plunges. Hot tub was kind of funny but still serious. If this happens again, may have to change your name to Bob. haha
  5. Congratulations to you and Mrs. SJW
  6. Hi Don, Great article, and I will try it out. In one of the later indicators you use 20 lb maxima, why is that? Thanks Paul
  7. Wish I could hook up a remote taser to my truck.
  8. That Sucks, hopefully you can claim on insurance. Good Luck, hope you get them back but doubtful.I have also had that happen. Took gear and all my flies. Had to start over.Friggin Thieves!!!
  9. I've gone to most of them. I find it to be quite entertaining for those of you who have not been. Michele and Armand also raise lots of food for the food bank, and always have a worthy organization there raising funds from ticket sales and donations.Good On You BRS
  10. That would be fun too
  11. Nice rod and reel Doc, and the hats not bad too.

  13. Hey Guys, Michaels has the scrap book boxes on sale for $5.99 , and got a sheet of foam fr WSS for $11.99. I will use the big box for all my flies, and take two smaller pocket fly boxes out w me topped off fr the big box. On a trip I will take the biggy. Thx Jayhad

  15. Just checked it out. Looks amazing.
  16. Literally in the middle of know where. Looks like amazing country. They said you always have the water to yourself and camp folk. You can fly direct from Anchorage appearently. I would think big $$$$
  17. Just saw an episode of love my fishing, filmed on the Kamchatka and Two Yert River. Now way up there on my bucket list. Bloody amazing. I thought the Bow had monsters, it was crazy up there. Has any member been to these places?
  18. So RedBeard, Between opinions and disagreements, hopefully you will get some useful info from this thread.Use a PFD at your own discretion, but one worn is more effective than one on your boat seat or the shore. Have a great 2013 on the Bow. Time for a diff font.
  19. Don is correct, in looking for DOT Canada approved. My Mustang and Bass Pro is DOT approved, but consumer be ware and look out for the approval tag.
  20. I have regular and inflatable PFD's. Never had a problem with the inflatable in bad weather. I find them to be more comfortable than the others, not so bulky, and does not get in the way. Mustang and Bass Pro are the brands I have. I have not fallen in on a wade, but would poss expect it to inflate. Recently on a post a member said they would not buy an inflatable but did not say why. I woild be curious to hear the reason. I recommend the inflatable and prefer the optional auto and manual type.I swam all my life and still would not think of going without one. Strong swimmer or not, you never know what situation you will be in wading or boating.
  21. It is noticable, What, too much belly aching or something??
  22. You use the light so nicely. Never cease to amaze me. Likely some of the best shots I have seen on FFC, and there have been lots of good ones. Keep it up. PL
  23. A friend of mine goes to TOFINO often and love it. Camp on the beach and feast on crab. Good luck, I hope you find some good spots
