  5. Sorry RB, that was on shaw, 14 and 22
  6. I checked my PVR and it is on ch 14 and 22 on weekends near 4 or 5 pm. North Calgary is a diff channel I think.
  7. Max is Great, but I wouldnt mind having the chance to meet Hilary !!!
  8. Also consider one that matches your energy level. I also agree the Duck Toller is great or lab and lab mixes.
  9. Check out some dog rescue sites. There are a lot of great mixed breeds of medium size. As much as we have had purebreds in the past, (Mastiff and Poodle) there are a lot of options. Good Luck and Have Fun
  10. When ever I try to attach photo's, they are rejected as to large. Where do I find instructions on FFC to downsize and attach photo"s? Thanks

  14. Lots of great feedback, Thanks. You folks opened my eyes to research a couple of suggested locations, although the Bow is hard to be far from. Might just do High River and some warm place in winter, yet to be decided,(but close). Thanks Again Yukon is one that excites me.
  15. PM Sent What, The Bow has fish in it !!!
  16. Hey Doc, your Grandpa and his flies are great treasures. To fish to that amazing age is wonderful.
  17. My better half and I just came from a birthday party for a friend, !00 Years Young. Sharen is amazing, and when she speaks I am all ears. Can you imagine what she has seen and lived in her life time. It is a great and valuable experience to be around her. If I make it anything near that age,( Mom is 93 and on vacation in Califoria, and sharp as a tack), I hope I have a clue. On the other hand, my beloved Uncle is old and has memory problems, but every morning his daughter tells him he won the lottery, and he starts every day excited and happy. I'm not that old,but let's here it for we old fogeys.Regards PL
  18. Thanks Dave, A friend guides there every winter and summers in Kimberly. Sounds interesting, What is the cost of living like over there?
  19. I guess if you end up where you really want to be, the 1% is worth it, if BC is the place.
  20. Thanks Terry, beautiful area but dont you find the wind to be too consistant? Otherwise Love the area.
  21. Lots of great point. And the Yukon would be amazing or Labrador.
  22. Would likely go south late Oct or early Nov as friends do. The Bow may keep me here, hard to leave that water, but in a smaller town like High River. I have thought of Hefley area as well, but so many lakes and rivers near Kamloops and Kimberly, and so many nice northern locations. Crowsnest is nice too but so flippin windy.
  23. Asking your opinions, if you could retire in any city or town in Canada, that had lots of fresh water fishing around it, where would you go? For now I am thinking Kimberly, Kamloops, or maybe up north in one of several provinces. Remember, the hook is fresh water fishing. Thanks
  24. Hi Terry, is that just for Toronto or the whole province. Starting to plan retirement, and want a summer home in Canada and a condo or small home in a warm climate, Mexico or Panama. Likely stay to western Canada but will consider east, so long as it is near good fishing pref fresh water, and according to the boss, not too far from a community with a hospital. (Don't know if she is psychic)
