Tallieho fish caught by kids under 16 count against the limit of the supervising permit holder. so if I fish with 4 kids under 16 and the limit is 5 we only get to take 5. but my kids hate fish so the limit in my family is 0. -

The lakes in BNF that I know with big fish 6 lakes all are not stocked and have self sustaining populations that spawn in the outlets would this have an impact on fish size? -
Picklejar Lakes- Catch And Release
troutlover replied to McLeod's topic in General Chat - Fishing Related
Smaller High altitude lakes in Banff produce cutts over 5 lbs and 20 inches on a regular basis. All of them are catch and release however none of the ones im thinking about are stocked. One of the lakes im thinking of is one of the highest elevation lakes in a national park. That said there are also lakes within 3km of some of these "big fish" lakes that produce small fish on average. I think each lake is its own eco system and food supply will determine the size of fish not altitude. One lake in BNP has seen a sharp decline in population and size it was alarming to biologists and the did a study on the micro biological levels in the lake and found them crashing for a reason they did not know the biologist we talked to said high alpine lakes without a strong micro biological base can not sustain large fish. I am not a biologist I don't know what conditions need to exist for a strong micro biological base. -
there are some decent spots in the middle of the islands just need to find them but mostly patches of sand. dont forget to take some tiny copper johns chartreuse and red #18.

New Home Foundation Height Question
troutlover replied to Scoob's topic in General Chat - Not Fishing Related (NFR)
Builders are a hard bunch to pin down except for a few good ones but most in the industry have the policy of deny deny deny and then lie. Until you prove it they will follow that policy to their dying breath. " Its nothing personal against you its how they protect themselves from unrealistic expectations from the customer" (thats how they justify it and sleep at night) -

Hire an engineer that deals in civil matters. It will cost a few bucks but you will get a lot more attention and action. Also peace of mind. -
I haven't been to a game for maybe 20 years but my son wanted to go so the whole family went We were late arrived in the second quarter I spent the rest of the second quarter and a bit of the third getting food and changing the 2 year old who we are potty training (*that was fun) finally got to sit down for the fourth quarter to watch the game and it was really awesome what an amazing comeback my kids were thrilled. They were so pumped up by the excitement and I have to give a special thanks to super drunk guy who high fived my boys at the end of every play. They want to go again and they want me to make sure I buy seats near high five guy "He was so funny!" im pretty sure every row no matter where you sit has a high five guy. Its sad I haven't gone for 20 years ive been missing out on a really good time cant wait for the next one. GO STAMPS GO

its hard to do. Try to get as much of the root ball as possible. Soak the roots in a bucket of water for a few hours before you plant them. Dig your hole put a few handfuls of saw dust in the hole (For some reason blueberry's love the saw dust). put 4 inches of dirt over the dust scatter in some mykes root fertilizer also sprinkle some directly on the roots you can get it at any garden centre. Plant your bush. Make sure you match the same conditions they are currently in. Take a scoop of the dirt they are in now and if it has a lot of clay or sand you might need to add a few bags to the area where you are going to plant them. I wouldn't fertilize them because it is late season and you don't want to promote new growth. There are late season fertilizers you can use. I would talk to someone at a garden centre but carful a lot of the employees at garden centres have no clue what they are talking about. make sure you water a bunch keep the soil wet.

New To Fly Fishing - Help And Advice Will Be Greatly Appreciated!
troutlover replied to cr0g's topic in Ask the Pros
make sure its a real guide. Book through a shop and let them know your intentions and they can make the best match. Hansens has some really great guides. -
Ha Ha you think its about conservation! THAT is hilarious. I don't think they shouldn't have control of their lands I absolutely do think they need control of their own land; However conservation is the sheeps clothing they shroud their true intentions with. The corruption within the bands is disgusting and the people with influence and power are just as corrupt and interested in wealth and personal gain than any other human with power and the potential to be rich.
