Could be but the high catch rates they're braggin' on makes me think there's a helluva lot of fish in there since "someone" introduced the rainbows and the scuds only15 yrs ago. Very cold water + excellent feed source + year round spawning = high survivability with a bejesus boatload of fish. I like to know the age of some of those bigger fish. I'd almost bet they've 10 year olds or over. A trip to check'er out would be a hoot though but I ain't goin' unless I win the lottery and that would mean I'd hafta start buyin' tickets Edit; forgot No Natural Predators

I used it on a beer thieving black bear and a couple of pissed off holstein bulls........all of them departed in a helluva hurry and seemed to learn a life lesson or two.

And I forgot to add, we made our own pack frames in wood shop... spruce I believe.

Dream fishin' trip? I looked outta the window this mornin' and thought, Ah ****! I just wanna go fishin'

Took a certain stream down here 7-8 yrs to restart restocking itself after the drought of '03 killed off 90+% of the trout. I had great hopes of a newly resurrected cutthroat stream until the goddamned rainbows showed up a couple yrs ago.
