  1. If it was -30 and everyone was stuck at home and not fishing you might have got a lot more responces. Welcome to FFC
  2. (2) A headlamp must be mounted so that the centre of the headlamp is not more than 1.4 metres and not less than 560 millimetres above ground level when the motor vehicle is not loaded. http://www.qp.alberta.ca/documents/Regs/2009_122.pdf

  11. All hijacked posts (shuttle debate) have been moved to it's own thread(Not deleted). But thanks for coming out ^^^^^^ http://flyfishcalgary.com/board/index.php?showtopic=16537
  12. Moving all shuttle related talk to this thread just to keep the guide one on track.
  13. Are there any other jurisdictions that do this the right way? Maybe adopt some of their best practices and add your own. Like PGK pointed out this needs to be a grass roots kinda thing. I’m not a guide but if you guys need a hand coming up with a special hand shake or something then count me in.
  14. I'll make it work anytime and if anyone wants to jump in on the second seat then go for it.
  15. I will take the guided trip above the weir. Thanks
  16. I have a Belly Boat that's in good shape that I'm willing to give up. (Got too fat for it after I got an office job) I'll post brand and pics if needed once I get home. I would also like to credit the fine folks at Flybc.ca for starting this great idea. http://forum.flybc.ca/index.php?showtopic=34231
  17. Awesome pics!!!!!!! Love the DT shots
  18. Or PetroCanada It just needs to be done right or at least a 1000x better. Or you can roll out another Alberta Royalty program but do it when we are on the upswing LOL
  19. There is more than one way to skin the oil sands cat. This link will give you a lot more links. http://www.capp.ca/canadaindustry/oilsands...px#M174OyORnBGP Surface mining Combustion Overhead Gravity Drainage (COGD) Cold flow Toe to Heel Air Injection (THAI) Cyclic Steam Stimulation (CSS) Vapor Extraction Process (VAPEX) Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) 90% of the Alberta oil sands are too far below the surface to use open-pit mining so I see tech buck going here to find ways to tap into that 90%. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_sands One way to get more Oil Sands money back into Canada would be for Canada itself to become a big player (Owner/Producer) in the Oil Sands. The Government of Norway is the largest shareholder in Statoil with 67% of the shares and they seem to make a good go of it.
  20. I think a good chunk goes back into research. If there was zero profit know one would do it. They need to work on ways to tap into all the reserves. Most of it is still to costly to access. 1.6 trillion barrels is reason why none of the big players will ever leave the Oil Sands.
  21. I could be talked into something like this. Any idea on cost?
  22. I like the cut of his jib
  23. The baby saying Norm is the best LOL One of the great old shows
