  1. You got the idea there NoSlack. Anyone else try it yet. I have several that I'll post when there are more responses.
  2. The first challenge will be to tie a fly that must have a hackle but you may not use any material that comes from a bird of any kind. Feel free to use any other material you wish just as long it does not come from a bird.Have fun with this. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

  9. Been through it several times over the past couple of years, there's no set time that it lasts. I took Serc for it and it helped after awhile once the doze was adjusted high enough. First time lasted about 5 days , and the last time lasted about 5 months, it's one of those things that can't be predicted. Just hang in there and stay quiet and try to avoid any fast sudden moves, those always made it worse.
  10. You'll find this out that most stuff bought online will be disappointing when it comes to fur, hair and feather quality. It's best to be able to visually inspect the goods in your hand and most if not all the shops will help you pick out the better stuff.
  11. If you know some one trying to signup and are having problems doing so send me a PM and we'll get things straightened out in some way.
  12. Your list should be based on the flies you intend to tie/fish. Figure out what patterns you think you'll want to use and then find the recipes for these flies and start from there. Remember that you can substitute materials that you can't find for something similar that is more easily found. Experimenting with different material combos sometimes works great too.
  13. The OP is asking a question about groups, all my reply to him says they could ask for in the fishing get togethers as an option to finding others to float with. They may be other groups that do this than I'm not aware so In the regard the topic is ok here.
  14. Why not post in the fishing get together section, many do.
  15. That's one incredible piece of work, I know a few people that would jump at the chance to acquire that.
  16. The newer ones don't require a router having Airport already built in, mine just connects to the modem via the WiFi
