My 42 in Philips Plasma has gone to TV heaven. Still surprised how amazing the color was. Would buy another in a second, but they dont make the ambient light any more. Checked all stores in Calgary for a 42 to 50 in philips led, and no luck. Philips Canada is no help, so decided to look at other LED brands. Any feedback on what you folks feel is worth looking at. Want 1080 p and at least 120 hz. Thanks

Thanks to you special members of FFC. A while back I posted on FFC I needed a few things for a sick friend. The amazing members of FFC stood up in a big way and offers were flying in. So much so that I was blown away by the generosity of you wonderful folks. There were far more offers of items than I he needed, and Jim was well accomodated. You people know who you are who offered and gave, and I tip my hat to you, as I know Jim does as well. All the items are already spoken for to people who can use them. That's what I thought, but sounds like fun. I think I will eye a southern lake this weekend for the same. Only fished the Bow this summer, so a lake for pike and walleye would be fun on a nice fall day.

It is amazing how many idiots ruin a fishery because they want a fish they are familiar with in it. Start with 6 months in jail if you can prove it. And make them clean 10 miles of river shore and bottom. GOOFS!!!

Howdy FFC folks, as I trashed my back when a semi hit me 6 years ago. I thought I may try to hook up a winch system for my anchor on my 16 ft flat bottom. Princess auto has them on sale for $70. Have any of you set this type of system up? Any input would be appreciated.
