  4. I have a chance at two Bamboo rods, more interested in one than the other. May be from the 40's, I suggest hand made just a guess. 11 feet long, I like all about it but 1 eyelet is slightly bent. For those of you who know, how easy is it to straighten or replace the eyelet, and if replaced does it effect the rod value much? THX

  10. Thx Guys, lots of good info to consider.We would use it on the Bow. My wife swims like a rock, where as I am a strong swimmer, ex lifeguard. But depending on the circumstance, sometimes that does not matter. I have pulled good swimmers from the river before.

  16. Thx Guys, Peter I think they may not be fibreglass as they feel too heavy, I dont know the materials used in oars, but I thought it might be a carbon fibre or something like that. I will call my friend who got them and ask, if so thx for the generous offer.

  18. Ford f 150 Lariat, pay thru the nose for gas but go anywhere, store anything, and in comfort for the old achy bones
  19. I have a set of 91/2 sleeved counter bal oars, and in a couple of spots the outer cover of the shaft is curling up and can be sharp. Any suggestions how to repair this. I thought a wrap of sorts and maybe a coat of varnish or varathane? Any input is appreciated. Thx

  22. Good Work, Keep it up all. It is in my phone, too bad you have to take a phone now for poachers, but handy in case of emergency as well.
  23. Thinking of hopping in the truck for a drive. Does anyone know if the gate at Mac, and Carseland are open?
