  1. The city will not remove a tree of theirs if there is any life in it. And yes 311 is where to start. They sent a city arbourist over and they cleaned the trees up, but rarely if at all will they kill a tree.
  2. DH just make sure they are not city owned tree's. If they are near the front walk they may be city owned, back further on property are yours. I do not recall how far from sidewalk designate yours or cities.
  3. Did a drop by. Had fun checking the rods, but kept the visa in the pocket. Also pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced the simms waders are.
  4. I had my 67 Mustang in from BC, and Minute muffler (Reese) by the Ranchman's on Macleod Trail did it for me. And yes the inspection can be a pain, but it got through with minor work to be done.
  5. A buddy of mine always tells the wife, it cost $20. bucks. Could be a fly rod, bottle of scotch, or shoes. It's all $20 bucks, and he has been married for several decades. My little firecracker won't go for that, but when we have some extra $$ around she is very understanding. (YEAH!!!) I bought her a beauty of a G Loomis and she has never used it. No complaint for that one. Have my 5,6 8, and 10 wt, but could use a 3wt, just not yet.
  6. Seems to be too big a boat for too small water. Crazy dude. Could not make it through the complete vid.
  7. Do most rods allow for an add on fighting butt if it came from the store without?
  8. Holy Crap, another fine example. What a beauty of a hog, Hogstoppah.
  9. Love the Bow period, but yes those browns are a treat. Some people cringe when I say how beautiful fish are, and cant understand the fricken amazing colors. My wife was blown away by a hog brown I caught, and the gold was amazing. Brookies are no slouch for color and love the silver bullet. Will never tire of the colors. Check out some of Adriennes pics to see a great example. Are the gold browns, the german strain?
  10. And yes, big kudos to Craig for orginising it for so many years! I agree. Thanks Craig for a job well done.
  11. Congrats, they are a beauty of a treat. So now you have had time on the Bow, what do you think?
  12. Seems you did well. There were some very good deals to be had.
  13. Welcome, nice country, and when are they not busy?
  14. The place was packed, and seemed to be some good deals about. Surprised only 2 boats and a raft for sale. This may be the last year if nobody replaces Craig as the volunteer co ordinator. Hope it continues. If not Thanks Craig R.
  15. Thanks Doc and Weedy
  16. I have only caught one on the Fraser, and I was delighted, but yours is more of a hog. Beauty.
  17. Howdy mods, out of curiosity, what does it mean when a topic is locked? Thx
  18. Graphicguy, to a point I agree, but locks only keep nice people out. I have had my truck B and E'd for less than a dollar of change on the console. They will get in if they want to, but point taken Bud. Thx
  19. X 2, keep it out of view.
  20. Definitely starting to sound like a bridge tournament. Always barbless, even for kids fishing.
  21. I guess I had better dye my hair.
  22. Research and opinion from FFC are good
  23. Sounds like it might go to the guy who drinks the most, and had a bite.
  24. I too fished barbless for years, and did find a diff in my landing rate, but will still go barbless. It was not a huge diff though. And I can remove a barbed hook without doing much harm. Barbless all the way.
