"Well I had the big "opening" today LOL... ehhemm so I'll be outta commision till friday but on friday I'm gonna go hit some water near home here." when i had the boys trimmed i used the two beer method of pain medication, sat watched some war movies with two beer a cold one in my hand and a cold one sitting between my legs. the worst part 4months later my wife had a syst on her overy and had to have a hysterectamy(sp?) anyhow so my pain and suffering was never needed any how.

My waders are put away, wore them bellyboating at bullshead last weekend, but not it will be wet wading till mid september to october.

I use that combination and have not had a lot of breakage issues.

I Agree with Sundance, tell any casino/hotel that you have 10 drunks willing to drink and play, and they will cut a deal, and comp. ou guys craploads. Had a boss once that everyyear would take 25g's buy chips and go vacation in vegas gamble 5 grand away and bring the rest back home. the casino, would comp him tickets the room and a good protion of the flight. Casino's will do alot to get you sitting at one of their tables, with a large wad of cash.

Hey as a displaced Southern Ontarian i take some offense to that. I sometimes go out of my way to be polite. and I have found the majority of people from southern Ontario the same. What you can do for casting practice is tie a piece of yarn to the end of your leader, go to the local field Set a pie plate out and about 30 ft to start casting till your hitting the plate 80-90% of the time, then move the plate 10ft to the right, same thing, the to the left same thing. then increase the distance 5ft and do the same thing. It is great to be able to bomb a cast out till you see your backing but to be able to put your cast on the mark will put more fish in your net. but money is always best spent on lessons. Teck Edit: Pie plate and 80-90% might be to eager but puting your yard with in 3ft of that plate is good to be in the zone. And have fun learning.

The Hook and hackle club is good. mostly seems to be centred around tying but also I would suspect they cover what you are looking for. they meet every second wednesday(second and last wednesday of the month I believe). also some option are taking any one of the many Flyfishing courses offered by the fly shops. I took the one From fishtales and learned a good amount. Third option is take a guided trip. through oneof the shops and they will be able to teach you what you need as well. fourth option post in the fish get togethers section and get out with some fellow board members and watch and learn there is a great bunch of folks here that will be happy to give some pointers. tightlines and welcome to the site Teck

oh i can't say I wont buy anything there but, for big ticket buy's it will be the small shops that have always taken care of me, and made me feel welcome and at home in there shops. Teck
