  5. I am thinking it is the line that will be changing maybe to a SA line Ilike the GPX I have on my 6wt now so am thinking that. but I do like the balance and feel of the rod itself.
  6. Just picked up a guideline 4wt from Hansons, the price was right 250 bones for the whole shebang. casts fine but I don"t like how the line shoots so I might be changing that before I fish it.

  17. As A person who has rented most of his life. I am enjoying this thread. Yes there are slum lords out there, yes there a horrible tennants out there good we decided that. But as a renter, you have to shop around to find the right land lord As a renter I think I am the only one that asks for refrences, and calls them. the way you have to look at it is the landlord is not doing you a favour renting to you. You are doing a favour renting from him. you go to a restaurant and the food is craps you don't go there again, and you complain. You have a crppy landlord you look for a new place at your leasure, and find the one best for you. rules for looking for a rental I follow. 1. ask for references (and call them) 2. never sign a 1st least for more than 6 months (nothing worse than being trapped in a shithole for a year) 3. try to get past utility bills. So you have an idea of what else you got to pay 4. when ever possible never look for a rental in desperation. like every other big purchase shop smart. Just want to add a gay pokey thing---->

  20. I beleive, We used to own a 180yrold farm house in Waupoos ON. very small Farming community. The 1st morning after we moved in I was working IT support for Corrections Canada, had to leave a 6am to make it to work. so I got ready and went to get my keys off the top of the fridge(I Always put the there, no matter where I lived) They were not there search Hi and low finally after 1/2hour gave up went up stairs to grab my wifes keys went back down stiars and my keys were sitting in the middle of the Empty kitchen table. of the yearrs we lived there this happened frequently. got to the point that I would just say Thank you Mrs. Jones(the previous owners were the Jones and the farm had been in the family since they came over as Loyalists). We would always hear footsteps upstairs in the Farm Hands Quarters, we would go investigate to find nothing. the dogs would not enter the Farm Hands Quarters you could not pull them in there on a leash, but every so often you would hear them whimpering and find them locked in the back room of it. When ever you would go out the back door through the Summer Kitchen you would get this feeling of being watched, and ever so often you would catch a glimpse of a bearded guy in a red checked shirt and coveralls in the corner smoking a pipe then he would be gone nothing left but the smell of pipe smoke. but the weirdest was when after about 1 yaer living there we made friends with a couple about our age down the road and started going there (Jason was the Grandson of the lady that lived in the house (Mrs. Jones). we were have dinner over there for the first time and my 4yr old daughter pointed to a picture in the Hall a stated the that is the woman that comes to see her at night, it was his grandmother the Mrs. Jones we were refering to. so needless to say I am a believer, no matter what people say. as Einstien I believe said "energy never ceases it merely changes form". and those are my experiences take them as you will.
  21. 2 fish My 7YR old sophie and I were spending a weekend together Fishing. the 1st was her 1st fish if any size 16" cut, while she was fighting that one I spotted a big bull move off the bottom so once we released the Cut, I took the rod changed leaders and put on a white/red bugger that i keep on my hat as my MOJO fly (1st fly of my own tie, that caught a fish), and cast for the bull. on the 3rd cast he hit it like a freight train. after 10minutes of fight and my daughter jumping up and down screaming get him Dad i had a nice 30.5" bull in my hands. and this was in a spot that I ussually pass by thinking that there are no fish in there. the 2 best fish of the season in about 20minute time span. oh and only took 2 skunks this season. one on a August trip to fallen timber. the other on a quick 2hr bow trip
  22. written upside down on back window of a raised 4runner "if you can read this roll me over" on the trailer hitch cover of a Chevy 2500HD "remove to tow Fords"
