The other night my rod was blown off the roof of my van and now it seems to grind. like the spool is touching the housing some where. possibly spool got warped in the fall.
reel is second hand so an orvis repair probably not likly.
any ideas anyone
right now I am back to my trusty mayfly (beat the absolute *hit out of this and it will not die)
but the orvis was smoother and the extra pick up is nice

Yeah took his seasons of the bow at the Fly Expo this year I find what I have applied from there to my fishing here has really increased my numbers. and a great teacher as well.
