  4. I drive as fast as I can afford, and even a small ticket is the price of a rod or a decent weekend fishing in the mountains I can't afford to speed. and school and playground zone speeders drive me nuts. I think speed fines should triple in those zones
  5. my son has a danvise (stolen from me) and he loves it. I use an Apex Anvil and it does what I need as well. Teck
  6. I ussually carry 4 boxes, a dry, nymph, Terrestrial and Streamer box. fits my vest well. and simple to locate what i need
  7. obviously never tried the Fillet'o'fish or as I call it filliet'0'whatthe****isthat. used to get the family pack of mcnuggets, hot mustard dipping sauce, lrg chocoshake, and large fry for drive home when I worked the graveyard shift in kingston. Teck
  8. I agree excellent book, my wife got me that and a tying kit the christmas before last...don't think she could have guessed what she started. bought a few other books since then but find I'll refer to that 1st.
  9. South Island NZ in the winter and southern AB inthe summer would be the perfect life.
  10. good pics, looks like ya had fun. My son and I were out on sunday, got skunked but had a great day. few fish on but none to hand. was a little sad to see that one of the leaning trees fell. wonder how that will effect that hole in the future.

    Nothin but elk hair and thread takes about a minute to tie Black ant Brown ant thinking of adding a few strands of White antron for a wing also

  23. ALso check the "Fishing Get Togethers" section and head out with some people from there. But the best advice is just get out, on the Bow there is very little bad water. get a back roads map book as well, great way to find access, also check this site out http://atlas.nrcan.gc.ca/site/english/maps/topo/map/ I find topo maps really helpful in finding water Tight lines Teck
