So we are planning to do our first toon float from Police to Mckinnon. I have no idea about how long it takes. Just want to know what I am up against. Any advice is welcome. Matt

probably not a bad idea to submit it to the fish and wildlife guys. It may be a parasite they are not aware of, could just be foul hook, could be a growth due to a newly introduced chemical

I just picked up my first toon also last weekend, used, but really happy with it also. Its a water skeeter river runner deluxe. The rare earth quick connnect is an awesome idea. Right now I have a down tube mounted with a screw clamp. We fished Lake Newell for pike. The fish finder was great for mapping out the weed lines and spotting fish. I am going to have to find a better mount system for that also, the zip ties just dont do it for me. Super pumped to float the bow, if it ever turns from choclate mike.

I am here on my back deck in the NW and ther are these little flying beatles that have two long legs mid torso like a water boatman bouncing off my computer screen. They are only 3/4 cm in length and fly.

I just picked up a new tent trailer and want to go camping this weekend. Thats my point, it may not land me on the cover of national geographic for quality, but I had to share with the board that for 200 bones, you can get a drop proof, underwater, wide angle, HD movie shootin camera. Great price, nat bad video quality, and a pretty idiot proof point and shoot for what I need.

Just picked up the Olympus Stylus tough 3000, good for water submursion upto 10feet, and shoots HD video. Blacks has it on sale for $209. Pretty good deal for anyone looking for a deal on an underwater camera.
