  1. So we are planning to do our first toon float from Police to Mckinnon. I have no idea about how long it takes. Just want to know what I am up against. Any advice is welcome. Matt
  2. probably not a bad idea to submit it to the fish and wildlife guys. It may be a parasite they are not aware of, could just be foul hook, could be a growth due to a newly introduced chemical
  3. I just picked up my first toon also last weekend, used, but really happy with it also. Its a water skeeter river runner deluxe. The rare earth quick connnect is an awesome idea. Right now I have a down tube mounted with a screw clamp. We fished Lake Newell for pike. The fish finder was great for mapping out the weed lines and spotting fish. I am going to have to find a better mount system for that also, the zip ties just dont do it for me. Super pumped to float the bow, if it ever turns from choclate mike.
  4. I am here on my back deck in the NW and ther are these little flying beatles that have two long legs mid torso like a water boatman bouncing off my computer screen. They are only 3/4 cm in length and fly.
  5. country pleasures, I have the orvis pro guide III's love em, indestructible and super comfortable, they convert to a pant also.
  6. that what happens when you are selling anything to 300 million vs 30 million. a 24 of beer in the us is 16.99! and the cigarellos that i smoke are 2.90 each up here and 2.30 for a pack of 10 in flordia. Tax and volume.
  7. Wow, I was thinking excessive force lawsuitt also before someone pointed out the gun. Crazy! Glad that is not part of my job description!
  8. Not to be Captian Obvious here but "dancers" who make that kind of money are doing more then shakin their hips.
  9. Check out the Orvis Proguide III's, convertable wader with gravel guards, felt lined hand warmers, water proof inside zippers. BIG PIMPIN!
  10. So here's the skinny. I want to take advantage of the weather this weekend, I have a 15month old little girl another one on the way in just 6 weeks. I just picked up a new tent trailer and want to go camping this weekend. Any suggestions, ~1 - 2hour radius from Calgary, flishing close by so I can sneek out in the morning before anyone is up, trailer and kid friendly.... Not looking for your honey hole. Matt
  11. Don't hijack the guys post splitting hairs over rafters/joists. We all know what he ment was upper floor joists exposed in an unfinished celing.
  12. Three of the saddest words known to man "Replacement Sage tip"
  13. Thats my point, it may not land me on the cover of national geographic for quality, but I had to share with the board that for 200 bones, you can get a drop proof, underwater, wide angle, HD movie shootin camera. Great price, nat bad video quality, and a pretty idiot proof point and shoot for what I need.
  14. Just picked up the Olympus Stylus tough 3000, good for water submursion upto 10feet, and shoots HD video. Blacks has it on sale for $209. Pretty good deal for anyone looking for a deal on an underwater camera.
