  1. Nope, never was found, by would like to run into that ****er today. Needless to say my folks bought a house in a small town, Alliston ON by the end of that summer. Teck
  2. My bike wreck lost 3ft of small intestine (but they took appendix at same time) huge hole open in my stomach broke leg, wrist, 6 ribs Major concusion buggered up my right knee and when I was a kid (5)I was playing with my Grampsies golf club(1w) and an older kid grabbed it Smashed me in the face with it and ran that was 83 stiches in lip gums and upper pallette (luckily my aunt was a OR nurse and had a Plastic surgeon meet us at hospital, that is why so many stiches) lost the tooth permanently. 3. come to think about it only hangover i ever had was from Grappa (sp?) that sh!t is brutal
  4. Rick think about the advantages of learning to cast with the opposite arm, you don't have to give up fishing for a few weeks, just relearn to cast left, on the morphine subject, I had it for a bit after a bike accident 10 years ago. Put the hadle bar into my guts, and got pretty busted up, after dropping the bike during a high speed wobble. didn't really take the pain away just made it very interesting. but no hang over from it. 8. true, I hear the hook and hackle has some fair to middlin tiers in it actually I joined last year but I just never got the time (seems everyone meets on wednesday) to go to a meeting more so donated my money to them but sure wished I found the time. or stop by troutfitters for the free seminar on staurday and ask questions of some of the people there. I'll be there fur sure.
  9. I Agree with flytyer, Last year my wife for xmas got me a kit, and I have since replaced nearly everything that came with it, the materials were crap and the vise was useless for any thing under a 10 hook pick 3 flies easy flies woolybugger, pheasant tail nymph, Hares ear for instance were my first 3. Get what you need for those and build your kit as you see need to 9 trust me you will be swimming in tools and materials in no time some suggestions a Danvise is a good option for beginning holds a wide variety of hook sizes is full rotary (i rarly use this feature but as my tying improves I may and then I dont have to buy a new vise) and won't break the bank ($70 dollars on ebay) also DR.slick has a tool set I picked up that I really like. has scissors, whip finisher, hackle pliers, bobbin, bobbin threader, hair stacker, and bodkin.
