  8. That's true, I often find myself wondering what happened to T.V. that was just there to make you laugh, Between reality T.V. and All the crime Dramas, what ever happened to the Sitcom, a show whose purpose was to make you laugh. Instead we have 100 channels of Base humanity, oh well gives me more reason to hit the river and Fish.
  9. I Agree, the trashiest bunch of misfits on T.V..
  10. Reading Large water (ie the Bow)
  11. sjw's 25.5
  12. i would say 17 inches
  13. I would say 18.5 to 19
  14. Thing is it is like this Across the whole country, just to much track and not enough people to prperly inspect it. when CP went private they let go all the Track walkers that check on this stuff. so over the last 30yrs the conditions have deteriorated to this point. Back in Kingston there was a spot I complained about that was missing abount 5 ties in a row, and where there was a tie you could pull the spike out with almost no pressure, and this was a main line through a city and still from what I have heard it is still bad. Personally I think it is amazing that we have had a large disaster yet. just my opinion Teck
  15. Thank you all for the info on both posts Oops I think I have a plan set together in my head. Teck

It's about where ya fish not where ya sleep ) so I have the ussually question about decent access point there and places where I can park the Van, Grab a couple hours sleep before heading out again Any advice will be appreciated, and thanks in advance. Teck

  23. And the oil companies never spun their financial numbers, in order to make a buck. Come on Big Oil is only slightly more ethical than Big Tobbacco. so I would say that their numbers are probally skewed as well, in their favour. I say hold your hat on and keep the grease handy cause it's either oil or the goverment that is going to give it to us as the consumer. we just don't know which yet.
  24. A Solstice fishin sounds great, definatly something to be thrown up on the events side.
  25. Teck rules of wading, 1. if you don't feel safe your probably not, don't do it. simple wading advice (works good with other things as well) further 2. if you are alone triple your care 3. use a wading staff 4. .If you fall put your feet down stream a broken leg is much preferable than a broken skull 5. when your waders fill with water, they are heavy so when you get to shore Don't stand right away, undo your waders and roll them off to drain as you stand. Waders can hold a lot of water wieght, but when in the water and full they a nuetral bouyant, it is out of the water that they feel heavy. when you get a chance find some slow to no flow water and test it.)
