  1. LOL Thanks Chris.
  2. Welcome Jeff. You will find a wealth of knowledge on this board from those who seek to give it. You'll also get a wealth of sarcasm from those same folks.....
  3. Steve, it was a pleasure sharing the water with you on Friday. I had a GREAT time, for obvious reasons. It was great meeting you finally, and kayakmike as well, who managed some great shots of us on the water. And, my personal fave of the 20" cutty I told you about.
  4. I would also add Maxwell to that list. He's extremely knowledgeable of the Bow and is a great guide.
  5. That's why I like my Exodus so much. You can take off the "vest" and wear it on the hot days in the summer. Then you have the flexibility of the back pack for those day trips where you need a lunch, rain coat and the water bladder. The frame of the back pack also keeps it off your back for ventilation. Great set up, in my opinion.
  6. For the best traction, get the felt with the studs.
  7. You can find both at Wholesale. Fish Tales carries some William Joseph as well as Fish Pond too. I have also seen William Joseph at The Fishin Hole.

  9. Awesome build Mike! Lookin' great!
  10. Still less than a year old. I've seen people haul *hit out from three years ago.....
  11. Trailhead, I noticed that your pictures are stored on Photobucket. You don't have to physically upload the pictures to the website. They create the thumbnails you see in your thread. All you need to do is post the Image link and then it will post the picture. For example: [img ]http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n11/vurban/BUSH0323.jpg[ /IMG] Will come out as
  12. That's odd. I have had zero troubles casting mine. Rio Gold casts beautifully and has no problems with wind or big flies. Mind you, it is my dry fly rod, so a big fly is a skid bitch....
  13. HOLY SPIT! Nice fish dude!
  14. Just landed my first fish on the dry this evening with my 8'6" 5wt tonight. Casts easy and landed the fish easy. Great back bone. Light and easy to cast. Have been considering the 9'0" 6 wt to replace my current 6wt as well......
  15. Great pics and a great tribute to Bear. Thanks for sharing your memories of him with us.
  16. I just got mine as well from the StreamWatch Auction. It is extremely well done. Better than I expected to be completely honest. Well laid out, easy to follow. Awesome job Sean!
  17. NICE!

I really gotta go get some cutty hunting done over the next two weeks......
  19. Great post.
  20. Awesome work! I love Alberta too! Except the fLAMES.......
  21. Sean, I have caught fish both above and below the car park. I have also caught fish directly across from the car park. Good luck. There's lots of good fishing down there.
  22. No, working on Saturdays is why working in retail sucks.....
  23. UPDATE! I just saw a picture from Dave at FishTales on Facebook with a client who landed Rip Lip yesterday. Looks like he's alive and doing well!
