  1. Now all you gotta do is post the other two pics......
  2. I thought you looked familiar......
  3. Those are some COOL shots! Thanks for posting!
  4. Aside from the water on the lens, that is a sick looking brown! Nice job J!
  5. Yeah, what monger said, Jay. You're picture posting skillz suck dude. lol Just use photobucket, or flikr, or some other photo site and then paste the url for the picture on the site between the [/img] things you can find on the menu above your posting window. The "Insert Image" one.
  6. Icky gets my vote. Reelflies.ca is a huge site and has a bigger selection (I have ordered from them and was looking forward to seeing them at the show as they were here last year, but they weren't this year) but you can't beat Icky for customer service. Order the flys on a Monday you have them by Wednesday. And a couple free one's to boot.
  7. Picked up a copy of Blue Ribbon Bow by Jim McLennan, and apparently, I was the winning bidder on a Fly Max Films gift pack. Fly Max Hat, DVD, and long sleeve T-Shirt. Now I just have to figure out how to exchange the size from a M to an XL. Being 6'2" tall and 200lbs, I'm pretty sure the M won't fit at all. I guess I shoulda checked the size before I bid lol
  8. Just a beautiful place, captured by some amazing shots. Well done guys! Super jealous.
  9. I keep hearing radio ads that Sleep Country Canada takes them for donation, and those that can't get donated, they recycle. Give them a shout to see if they'll take it off your hands.
  10. This was posted in a similar thread by one of our other members, weedy, which will apply to this thread as well. As SJW said, you have come to the right place with a lot of reading to do. Enjoy.
  11. Photoshop is fun!
  12. Its also directly behind Fish Tales.
  13. Nice review on the Reddington Sonic Pros. http://www.ginkandgasoline.com/trout-fishi...s-make-me-cool/
  14. Awesome! Just amazing shots! Looks like you and Amelia had a fantastic couple of days.
  15. Ah, ya beat me to it! Welcome to the board, you will have no issues finding help here. I was in the same boat you were a little over three years ago and these guys n' gals helped out a lot!
  16. Awesome shots and another awesome season Max!
  17. Oh yeah....Six Million Dollar Man....CHiPs.....Miami Vice.
  18. So many old shows I loved. Gilligan's Island M*A*S*H Fantasy Island Quantum Leap Love Boat That's Incredible Star Trek Star Trek TNG Battle Star Gallactica And more that I can't remember right now. It seems I watched a lot of TV as a kid..... Now, my faves are House Hawaii Five-O True Blood Entourage Boston Legal Modern Family, I started watching recently, and it's HILARIOUS
  19. Merry Christmas to all this fine Christmas Season! I hope to fish with more of you this year!
  20. Gotta be honest, I have been eyeballing these guys myself as my next set of waders. I'm not close to needing some, but I may give these suckers a go as my next set. I like the seamless idea.
  21. Awesome pics! One day, I would love to travel to New Zealand for some of those monster browns!
  22. That's what I was considering doing. I have seen plenty of 9'0" out there, but not a lot of 9'6".
  23. I have Shaw and was completely unaware of this feature! Thanks Peter!
  24. I do believe that the Hydros is discontinued. If I'm not mistaken, it was replaced by the Helios? I considered the Access, but it doesn't come in a 9'6", which is what I am looking for as my nymph rod. Currently have a 9'0" Sage Launch 6wt that I use. Looking to get that extra 6" for nymphing. Also considering ordering a Sage Flight in the 9'6" as well. EDIT: My mistake, it looks like the Access DOES come in a 9'6". Now I have even more options......dammit!
  25. Hello all. I have some cash from Christmas that I am looking to spend on some fishing gear. Combined with some bonus money saved up, I have my eye on a 9'6" 6wt Hydros on Ebay that I can pick up for under $400 shipped. Never held or cast this rod and with it being an Ebay purchase, I don't have a way where I can. Looking for opinions on the rod to see if anyone has had any experience with it. Good? Bad? Thoughts? Thanks for the input guys. Darrin
