I always bring a few lite beers...

Diggler and I met up for some fishin yesterday...And decided the trout needed some love... Diggler must not be a good kisser...The fish couln't wait to get back to the water!!...

It was just stocked with trips, them pics are the dips. ...Yes those are the spawn colors...Some of the males are starting to clean up allready...A few females are clean aswell.. And the fight is starting to get a bunch better too...

I'm more than happy to share pics ....Fishing isn't a big secret....Its just a matter putting in the time to catch them, (And keeping in touch with people) and having some slow outings here and there....Sure there are a few places that will never be shared, and that stands to reason....I like to share pics, due to the fact- I love pics aswell...I strongly believe that by sharing C&R pics, It will help people undersatsnd and practice conservation, And help to keep our fine fisheries here in Alberta as good as they are now....For Many years to come...(And most of all- for our children) ..At least thats the way I see it... Don't be scared to try some cheap SA Air Cel line... The WF line casts like a dream...Bout 23 bucks...I'm sold...Never again am I spendin big money on lines... Cheers...Jeff...

The rod is a 4pc TFO 5wt...(My back up rod, super good rod)...The reel is an Okuma Magnitude 7/8...good reel for picking up line, and gettin fish to hand quicker...Super light reel for a 7/8... Not at all that big compared to other 7/8's, and not much larger diameter than a 5/6, just a wider arbour......Didn't like it at first, but now really starting to like it...Due to the fact as I said above, you can pick up lotsa a line in hurry, and get the fish in allot faster...Thats good for the fish, and my-self... Orvis clearwater II...Is one heck of a rod...I got one..And just love it.... I run one for 4 years...The old model...Wore it out, and they sent me a new one...Wasent 2 weeks ago I got the new one back....and about 6 days ago I slammed it in the truck door, with the help of the wind...Waiting on a new one once again...The TFO is a great rod aswell...Thats my back up rod that I'm using now...The TFO'S cast wonders in the wind...A bit stiffer than the Orvis... I don't spend huge Money on flyrods, reels or lines...Tried some of the high end stuff...I feel no need to spend big money..Unless you want to Impress someone... Or have money to burn...Just my 2 bits... Cheers...Jeff...

Tis a hoot, When you can watch the fish pick it up off the rocks!!

Met up with a retired history teacher today, from Calg...Great fun...Got into a few fish together...Great guy... We Did some sight fishin for big male spawners in about 14 icnches of water, from a good distance, or else they would spook, slow stippin buggers over the rocks...Great fun!!!!

Was out to Bullshead today...While fishing, Seen the stocking truck a comin...so I thought I would lend a hand, And talk to the fish Technician (That raises these fish from an egg...Cool guys, very interesting)..more about these Triploids...Was Interesting...Everybody seems to have a different idea about these Triploids...I have done some extensive research on triploids and have found so many different studies, and different conclusions on these studies...That I have no idea what to think....I guess we are about to find out in the next 2-5 years...I have also heard that the B.C fish Technicians are having some new Ideas on Triploids...I'm not even going to get into some of the ideas some people have, as it can turn into a gossip fest...And no one really knows what these Triploid fish in Bullshead will do...And I'm sure they will do just fine...If they grow to be monsters-Great...If they don't...They wont be any smaller than some of the larger fish this lake has produced in the past...Attached are a few pics from today.... I'm happy to say, Since the water level has came up in the last few days, The larger spawners have moved into Golden Pond...They are not all that interested on the bite...Can see them cruising along the shore in 1-2 feet of water...Hooked into a couple nice ones in there a couple days ago...Took some effort and allot of different presentations...nice size fish, and one hell of a scrap....

Pretty cool riff mang... ...lotsa talent there...No joking...Thought that was pretty cool... Was that you in the beard???... My Brother is Somewhat of a Musican...And can appreciate tallent...As I can, from watching him and his Bros...
