Never had my girls over the weekend ...So my Bro and I Did the Backroad thing...Lotsa a good Scenery and some good time spent...Nice to spend some time with your Brother...A little fishin too...Drove along the Cypress Hills Almost to Maple Creek... Thought I would share Cheers...Jeff..

With you catching that Brookie...That would be the 5th brookie that I have heard of being caught this spring from Bullshead...One guy I know caught one about 18 inches and he said it was around 3lbs and said it was very healthy....The people that I have talked to about these Brooks being caught said " there was no mistaking them, they were Brook trout" 2 of the people That caught the Brooks I know fairly well and they know their trout...I asked the stocking technicians about it, and they said there is no way the Brooks could get mixed in with the Bows at the hatchery...Maybe they are getting into the water systems from Spruce coulee???...There is a creek runs into B.H. at the east end of the lake...But not sure of its origin...As far as crossed lookin Bows, I havent seen any that look like that as of yet... Diggler and I met up for some fishin yesterday...And decided the trout needed some love... Diggler must not be a good kisser...The fish couln't wait to get back to the water!!...

It was just stocked with trips, them pics are the dips. ...Yes those are the spawn colors...Some of the males are starting to clean up allready...A few females are clean aswell.. And the fight is starting to get a bunch better too...

I'm more than happy to share pics ....Fishing isn't a big secret....Its just a matter putting in the time to catch them, (And keeping in touch with people) and having some slow outings here and there....Sure there are a few places that will never be shared, and that stands to reason....I like to share pics, due to the fact- I love pics aswell...I strongly believe that by sharing C&R pics, It will help people undersatsnd and practice conservation, And help to keep our fine fisheries here in Alberta as good as they are now....For Many years to come...(And most of all- for our children) ..At least thats the way I see it...
