I read this in the Medicine Hat News today-...A report prepared for Suncore Last November estimates that more than five million litres of toxic liquid per day is leaking from one of the company's tailing ponds...They say most of it is collected and returned to the pond...The tailing pond is 60 years old... I heard last year on the news, while I was working up in Ft.Mac, that Native people living down river are experiencing allot and new kinds of cancer, that they have never had a problem with in the past... Great to hear ya got into lotsa fish ..K's on weekdays only, Will fish B.H. on weekends, Just have to go for a walk to get away from the people...Most people don't fish more than 200 yards from the parkin lot...And thats where most of the little guys hang out...I go lookin for the biggens...And just like to walk and explore anyways... Thanx guys...Now that they are out of spawn mode, they are starting to feed hard and fatten up. The pics dont do them justice on the thickness, Maybe a month ago it did, The fight was on too, seen backing twice today...Bullshead sure hasn't been very crowded this year, compared to the last 3 years...Last long weeken was pretty much like any other weekend...There was a couple weekends that were a little on the crazy side...And if it does get crowded, go for a walk, there are allot of good spots around the lake, if ya want to go for a walk...And now out of spawn, they start spreading out around the lake, rather than being stacked up at the north west end, as they do in the early spring... Thought I would share a few shots from today, Talked to these Lamas along the way, They said they were going to try to make it out as well... .. Twas an absolute Crazy Chronie fest...Had a great day... ..Caught them on a few other patterns too, but Chronies were the ticket... Mostly sight fishing in one of the many Shallow bays B.H. Has to offer, They were stacked up like Crazy... in about 12-24 inches of water... Cheers...Jeff.. ..

Dude...Basic Still Water patterns, Chronies, leetches, buggers, scuds, copper johns, prince, SJW, minnow patterns,...And so on, in about that order. Keep in mind it is still spring and they like a slow presentation and or static presentation, perhaps under an Indicator with a twitch here and there...And if goin with an Indie, dont go very deep, maybe 2 1/2... 4 feet max, stick somewhat close to shore.....Have fun.. .. I broke my neck playing Hockey when I was 14, since then my neck has been pretty screwed at times, the chiropractor thing worked for years, then about 2 years ago he tried to get it back in shape and couldn't, So it was the chiropractor that sent to accupuncture, and it's worked-so far...I still have bad days, but not like I used too...Give it a try...It's somewhat uncomfortable, but.... That sounds like a heck of an Idea, Maybe this early Fall would be good time. Give some time to organize such an event.... perhaps at Bullshead?...Knowing the kids could get into some big willing fish, and keep them interested, as we all know it doesn't take long for kids to lose interest in something if it's not action packed...LOL...Anyone have some Ideas to add???... Thanx all. She was buggin me all morning to become a member so she could thank you guys for the comments. She thinks the board is pretty cool, And checks it out with me often.
