What ggp and I were getting at....Was dont give up on the Lower Kananaskis Lake...Not on fishing... ... diggler and I might be able to meet you guys out at Bullshead this weekend....You guys will have some fun out there... Cheers...Jeff.. ...

That about sums it diggler... But, I might add a few other color Chronies, along with some Gold Ribbed Hares Ears...Damsels might be hatching too...And they can turn onto Backswimmers as well...And the odd evening they will be targeting bait fish, so maybe some Clousers...Try nymphs under an indicator, and if that is not producing and they are rising in the shallows, try stripping a Bead head Hares Ear...That can be lotsa fun...And perhaps there will be a Caddis hatch, and if fairly calm, you might get them to take off the top...Just try all Basic patterns and you should be able to get into them....I might be out on Sat, not sure yet, but I'm hoping to get out there with the oldest daughter....Hope that helps ya some...If ya see diggler, Bree and I out there, come say Hi... I'm no pro but...It can be a good thing to overline a rod when needed to cast that little bit farther...i.e...Stillwaters and bigger faster rivers where presentation is not a big deal and ya wanna get that streamer out there......And ya need that bit more distance...As far as breakin your rod, I doubt it...But ya never know... A few senic pics to share... This guy tried to eat my camera...A few times...LOL...

Headed for the Hills on Monday...Met up with ggp on Tues...We then run into Glenbow in the afternoon, nice to fish with Glenbow, its been a while. We all had a great time fishing together...Run into Dekkard on Wed and fished the better part of the day together, and had a great day...Fished solo on Thurs, was a slower day till mid afternoon, the wind came up and put a good chop on the water and that seemd to turn them on till almost dark...Did some exploring on Fri looking for some new spots along the way....Stopped at Barrier Lake and fished the mud flats for a while with a few little white fish to hand, They were a hoot...Was going to take Powderface trail into Bragg creek, but the road was washed out and talked to a Volker Stevens guy, and he said it should be finished in the next few days...Had a fantastic few days, only planed on going for 3 days but...Took many many senic Pics, not a whole lot of fishin pics....Fishing was great, along with the people I fished with!!... Cheers...Jeff.. Got this one on one of ggp's great patterns same fish as above Caught this one shortly after, on a similar pattern... same fish as above only took a couple pics of ggp's fish...this one turned out the best... more Bulls with frigged up gill plates...Not as many as last trip... Nice and healthy...
