  1. out of curiousity anyone heading to Denver via driving or flying? there is a package there that I want but I don't want to pay duties nor shipping. will trade for beer
  2. Sorry about the loss of job but all the free time! MUST BE NICE!
  3. yep lots of tanks this year. nice hat! nice net!
  4. U should try and c. Everyone should always be strapped with a can of bear spray when fishing out there. I think a group of people should confront the guy to call him out.
  5. Thanks for the useful info nachako, do you know if emerald lake has boat access, or a launch where I can launch my drift boat from?
  6. thanks for the info, im not looking for a river looking for a lake to fish with the toddler
  7. thanks redbeard. but it looks like the lake is closed for fishing from sept 8 and we are going out sept 18, do you recommend any other lake around the area that will be open hold fish and allow boat access?
  8. So the wife ended up booking a couple days at the two jack lake otentik campground. its not really camping but that's besides the point. has anyone camped at or near this campground. I was hoping to bring the drift boat to do some fishing with the kids on the lake. does anyone know if I can launch a drift boat into this lake/ thanks!
  9. I think I seen a group of these guys last week while on a drift. they were older teenagers could smell the sweet aroma of mary jane wafting from that area. next time I see them I will look closer
  10. so when does fishcreek launch open anyways?
  11. so when does fishcreek launch open anyways?
  12. Its about time. why restrict use to only the southern stretch? would love to float through the downtown stretch on the drift
  13. don't quote me but I think most people are looking for either a Clacka or a Hyde.
  14. im willing to volunteer my time for some aerial mapping and surveying the launch and bank around it, can also generate engineered drawings for a proposal if there is someone willing to design and stamp them. im sure there is someone with access with a excavator, I bet a couple hours of moving a couple scoops of dirt here and removing a rock there and it could help 10 fold
  15. Just wondering how glenmore fish creek and police launch is doing. Is it accessible for a float. How long did the stretches take? Thinking about going out tomorrow.
  16. Muddlers
  17. i went with pesca maya, would definitely recommend, super professional and got me into fish
  18. try to get down to ascension bay, maybe rent a car to cut the costs. I seen a lot of waders when I went out there. the exchange rate hurts but what can ya do, definitely nice to float and fish. I was just in cancun for 8 days and belize for 4. I did two full days around isla blanca and its mangroves, one day at ascension bay. then another 2 full guided days in belize. im poor now. but it was worth it and ill do it again anyday
  19. great video. I love trout too
  20. on both vehicles im running Bridgestone Blizzaks, they are awesome. ive tried the Nokians but I felt the Bridgestones exceeded in traction on both my suv and sedan
  21. I love whores lol
  22. old news lol
  23. I would say go Simms. I've had my freestones for 3 years now. From day 1 I added cleats to them and they have lasted well over 450 fishy days in 3 years not just from parking lot to the banks of bow but long hikes. They are still going. Last year bought the g3's only because I needed a boot without cleats for my boat. immediately noticed the nice support that they offer. I've gone on 25 drifts and about 5 hike and wades and they honestly look brand new still. I may be biased because I 'm a Simms guy but I feel their quality is second to none.
  24. I know true that! I was trying to get out today but work just killed it yet again. I guess its better to be busy then not in this economy lol
  25. HA HA yeah surprisingly it wasn't from sinking it, there was no visible damage from sinking just a lost oar, and it was covered in silt. they are legitimate rock chips from driving it without a cover, thanks Mike we should get out once more in the next week before its too cold!
