    Hi, I am about to pull the trigger on moby net for using on the boat. Debating between crane or whale. I feel crane is probably big enough for most of trout lakes around Calgary, maybe not big enough for some BC lakes. Is the whale overkill? Or should I just get whale instead? Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Eric

    from what I read on BC forum, they don't fight up for their size. http://forum.flybc.ca/index.php?showtopic=43069&hl=Lahontan Would be interested try out fish on a ladder tho.

    fighting butt is useless, should be removed from all fly rod to avoid confusion. it doesn't help you fight the fish.

    troll more plz. fly line was never designed to cast a wooly bugger, SJW, and etc. It was not designed to cast sink tips and mono tappered leaders. please don't use them.

    lots of people do SUP in NW bowness. You should see how easy it is to fall into the water. Fly fishing on that thing? A joke maybe.

    don't think this gonna make any different on mortality rate anyway, 90% of the flies I found on the bow, other rivers, creeks, and etc have barb on them.

    was out north of cochrane last saturday. Hail came down in golf ball size for 15 mins. It was crazist thing I ever seem. on the way back on highway 22, we saw a car got blew away from highway to the field, apparently there was a tornado.
