  1. Exactly. Can't agree with you more. The thing is when you walk into local fly shops, all they want to sell you is a 5 or 6wt spey.
  2. agrees with pokerfish. Just my 2 cents. Most spey rods are too heavy for the bow. I don't find myself enjoy fishing a 5/6wt spey rod all day. I found a 3/4 switch/spey rod is more than enough for the bow, in turns of nymphing and swinging. The thing is, most fly shops want to sell you 5/6/7 wt spey rod, I have no idea why.
  3. lol $300? you can get a new inflatable boat if you spend little bit more.

  15. I am poor, so I tie my own. Fly tying is actually pretty fun. I probably lost more than two dozen worms in last 2 months.
  16. Very true never give out the "secret" spots.
  17. Just casted one at wholesales, the hardy rep was there. 6wt 9'. It's great. But I don't have $655 for that stick, I am very poor.
  18. That section of river is really hit and miss. Some places just look so good, but hard to find fish (maybe no fish ). If the structures are in south, they would hold thousand of fish.
