Don't mean to steal the thread, but didn't think it worth to start yet another "it's not butt ass cold out, YAY" thread.
Went out afterwork to brave the wind. Wind died down a tad, and thanks to the high bank, the wind at my back, the casting wasn't bad at all. Water was quite dirty from all the warm weather. On my way down I could see that Fish Creek was nice and dirty, so I wasn't all that surprised to see that the visibility wasn't that great.
My night very closely came to an abrupt end when on my second cast, I hung up on bottom and couldn't get it loose. Had to bust it off and lost the whole rig. Temper almost got the better of me (third time its happened in the last two trips) and almost called it a night.
Thankfully I didn't, and my reward was a nice brown of about 18".
Had another on, but lost it. Appeared to be foul hooked, but couldn't tell for sure.
Good evening to be out. Looking forward to going again in the morning
