  1. I have a 6wt that I use pretty exclusively for nymphing on the Bow. Then a 7wt for chucking streamers and a 5wt for dries. I carry lots of hardware......
  2. Pretty dope thumb rings there dude.
  3. Gotta admit. Those are some nice lookin reels.
  4. That was an awesome link! Thanks Colin! Makin me wish for warmer weather so we can wet a line!
  5. I have the Fuji Finepix water proof camera that I picked up a couple years ago. Price is right at $169. This is the newer model. Looks nicer and has more features from what I can tell. http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/fuji-f...699bbcc67e6en02 Takes pictures that look like this: Macro works well too
  6. Lucky bastard! I would have loved to have been at that game! Most impressive thing about that hat trick was that they were all power play goals! And, to top it off, it was a Natural Hat Trick too.
  7. Great pics! I wish I had the time to find places that look like that!
  8. There's a company that we use at the dealership who does heated seats in most vehicles for $600.00 for both front seats.
  9. Also check out the Amundson if you get a chance. They are a great deal as well.
  10. Hope those are water proof matches.....
  11. I would tend to agree if it were held 10 -15 years ago when the rivalry meant something. The bigger rivalry right now is Calgary/Vancouver. They just friggin hate each other. I would still rather have seen an Edmonton/Calgary game back in 03 or even now. Just sayin
  12. Hey! I was in there too! When I was landing my fish anyway......
  13. Or they forgot all about this thread. Or they were just too lazy to look for it.
  14. Based on how many times you've dunked your BlackBerry's, be sure to update us on how well it does handle it when you eventually dunk it in the river. Thanks in advance.
  15. yeah, but how would it effect your casting?
  16. As they say....."You get what you pay for."
  17. Out of curiosity, what are you planning on using the rod for? My 5wt, that I use for dries on the Bow mainly, has plenty of punch for distance casting, and it's only 8.5". I have a 9' 6wt for nymphing and a 10' 7wt for streamers. If you're looking for an all purpose rod for the Bow, then a 9 footer should be more than enough to toss dries, nymph and chuck the odd streamer. Just my two cents.
  18. This is the best and likely easiest way to do it. In my personal opinion.
  19. Love the splashing his reel makes when the carp takes a run. Wicked stuff.

Hooked into some nice fish indeed! I LOVE that first pic! That's pretty deadly.
  21. You could try one of these. I have some William Joseph stuff, and I absolutely love it. I have the Rain Jacket and it is super light, easily packable and keeps me more than dry enough. Great stuff for a great price. http://www.riverbum.com/William-Joseph-Squall-Jacket/ http://www.riverbum.com/William-Joseph-Rain-Jacket/
  22. I have yet to have a Honda that's NOT good in winter. *knocks on wood*
  23. You don't NEED 4 Wheel Drive to get out of this stuff. Sure, it helps, but it isn't necessary. I have a 2004 Civic Si 5Speed and made it to work no problem this morning. Parked out back, had several inches of snow on top, around and throughout the alley, just like everyone else. I had 0 issues coming to work. If you know how to drive, you shouldn't have issues. Don't rev the car to 8000rpm while getting out of your drive way, where you sit there and polish it to a surface that even the Saddledome would be proud of, and you'll be fine.
