Rubber all the way,if you fish triple rigs they come out easier and better for the fish too. Also the holes are bigger to let water threw less resistance when landing fish in flowing water.

Ya i added screws,and the wraps will cover the holes.Was thinking like a hockey stick with the wire under the tape,since thats where you put your hands anyway.But i don't want to use tape.

On one side of the V on my Fisknat net the glue has let go.I have re glued it ,was wondering about rapping the neck with something to make it stronger.Any suggestions?

My sisters dog Buster pasted away yesterday.I thought i would post a little about him since there's a lot of people on here with dogs. Buster was a great bird dog always listened and never wondered to far from my side,fishing with him was always a challenge as he always wanted to retrieve the fish.You can imagine what its like pulling a 90lb soaking wet lab back into the boat. He grew up on an acreage so he was very protective of his family and myself.I was dog sitting one day when a friend walked into my back yard when i wasn't home.I returned to find my friend up in my apple tree with buster at the bottom growling. My wife being a clean freak always insisted that i bath Buster if he was going to come into the house.I think that was his favorite part about visiting uncle Mike. Rest in peace buddy and i hope theres some pheasants for you to chase up there.

It was hard enough to get the 4 flies to FNG,having to mail out an extra fly for each round would be extra work and take away from fishing time. We could up the anti to 6 flies since there only seems to be 4 of us.

Was wondering what people used these days for hooks?I have some 94840 Mustad and have had some straighten on me as of late. Can a guy get away with using nymph hooks?

I was out twice last week and my 3wt loaded with a 16 caddis was my weapon of choice.I really enjoy the challenge of making that perfect drag free cast.As i type this I'm thinking i should go out this afternoon but i have work to do,so i guess I'll just have to go on memorys to get me through the day.

I use to fish there years ago,damsels trolled with a slime line was my goto set up.I once caught a brown in there that was 25"and weighted about a pound and a half.Skinniest fish i have ever seen.
