I have never fished a sink tip with a clear section.I think a full clear sink line would work better, easier to control where your fly is.Are you looking to cast and retrieve or troll? Edit.. yes 1.75 ips would be what you want.

I would agree,i have a type 6 8wt on my 6wt rod and its down 60' in no time.Niel if you dont have one already get a int. clear sink line.They cast awesome and are perfict for stillwater to 20'.

Nice fly, I found that the more legs the better.There also fun to tie and a lot easier then #20 nymphs. Have you tried hackle on the foam body?Or big eye's?

I like the registration idea,each vehicle hast to have a permit laying on the dash.20 bucks a permit is not that much to go for the weekend. Never mind steeper fines how about just quit giving warnings.You brake the law you get a ticket, plain and simple.

You get yourself a big ass rod and a big ass weight and cast it out,play around with different drifts and retrieves. The most common mistake i see (IMO) is people don't let it sink before they start retrieving.

Yes,got them last fall and just started using them, very nice.I ordered XLT because the legs where to short in regular sizes.The legs in the tall size are very long they must think you have to be 7' to be tall.Anyway if the price is right i would recommend them.

Ya any electric motor will work.I would recommend one with digital maximizer,I have a 50lb that burns less battery at trolling speed then my old 30lb. Yes a good deep cycle battery will last a weekend if you use it on slow speeds.Wally world in the spring has energizer group 31 battery's for under 100$.Not a true deep cycle battery but they work fine for me.

G3 1652 VBW will be my next boat,i have a 1648 riveted not the best boat but cheap.Have a look at the G3 just like Mr Chan's G3 I like that theres no center bench just add 1" ply for a floor and attach some seat posts.
