  1. I've had my fishcat for about 5 Yrs. and never regretted the $ spent. I don't float the Bow as often as I'd like but who does. I also use it on my community lake when I want to spend the day on the water when the Bow is running high. Bought it at the Boat & Sportsmans show from Fishin' Hole. Best $400. I've spent on gear ever.
  2. Is that a bonefish? I don't think any lakes around here are stocked with bones....lol
  3. Sounds like it's a rod from one of the nuclear plants from Japan. Highly radioactive and extremely dangerous. Better let me, a trained professional, take it off your hands.....
  4. Sumdance, I would love to join you and net and bonk perch. I'll be there with waders on at 6:30. Bartfly
  5. Last year I purchased a 30 watt solar panel from Crappy Tire (on sale, under $170.00) specifically to top up my single battery for my trailer. It's a newer model w/ many bells and whistles but all we really use are the lights at night and the furnace on occassion. In my experience, the solar panel works fine for topping up if we're only going for a weekend. Anything longer and I would either have to get a second battery or look for power. Hope this helps.
  6. I have many passions and music and fly fishing are but 2 of them so for me they naturally go together. I've always got music on wherever I go but once I hit the water it's pure silence. However when the music is on it's everything from classic rock to country to blues to easy listening. and jazz. The Allman Bros. is band #1 for me, The Eagles, Neil Young, Blue Rodeo, Zep, Clapton, SRV, Taj Mahal, to name but a few.
  7. Thank you all for your comments. Makes my decision easier.
  8. I'm curious if anyone out there has purchased or used one of the Coleman Solar Panels for recharging your RV, ATV, or Marine battery. I want to know if they are reliable, do as advertised etc. I know I can buy the Cadillac of Solar Panel Rechargable packages at any RV dealer for $1100.00, but being the cheapskate that I am, if I can get away with paying under $200 I would rather do that. Leaves me more cash for gear and beer. I have a basic trailer, don't use much in the way of power, but if I'm going for a long weekend or week long trip, I want to make sure my lights and water pump will work when I need them to. Thanks in advance for any thoughts/ comments/ suggestions. Regards, Bartfly
