There was a CO on the Bow yesterday with his jet ski checking people,well until he sucked up some rocks and broke his sheer key anyway.Had to help him out to get it re started,he was just downstream of Police and his truck was at Carseland.Hope he made it back before dark he wasn't going to fast with a wounded jet ski.

I hear ya getting skunked sucks.My friend tells me the same thing every time i get stumped and ask for advise.He says, maybe your flies suck.Most times he's right.

Don, Are you packing these boats into remote lakes?Or are these lakes accessible by truck?If its the ladder then WHY is an accomplished angler such as yourself not fishing out of a Pram or Jon? I'm 42 and if my truck can get to the lake then the hell with the pontoon,I'm bringing something a little more comfortable and apparently safer. Just wondering thats all.

I have played with it a little,one problem is when the current is all different speeds one fly will drag almost immediately after it hits the water. I go about 14-16" apart and use fluorocarbon.

I like the last one too,how much does a 17'6" weigh?If you went with the 80hp you would have no problem getting up on plain quickly with 3 or 4 people in it.
