  1. Boring as hell but it gets you started, alternate picking is good to learn right from the start.
  2. For tabs i use ultimate guitar tabs .com.Shows you all the cords you'll need to no. I also have a program called guitar pro 6 makes it real easy to learn a song. They have a 14 day trial so you can test before you buy. I'm no pro but if you don't no the F chord(not the middle finger one) yet learn it and train your fingers to do that chord.Learn some scales also this will help in the future. Also if your like me and have big fingers it makes it a lot easier to play if your guitar has a wider neck.I play on a 12 string with only 6 strings on it.
  3. Somemore info about trolling motors http://www.minn-kota.com/Minn-Kota-faq/Minn_Kota_FAQ.htm#4
  4. Take it back to Apple,maybe they'll give you a new one.Worth a shot.
  5. Justfloatin,i have the same battery's.Energizer brand group 27, 180 A/hr.I use them for my trailer and for the boat and have had good luck with them so far they are 3 years old now. How long will they last?I think 1 lb of thrust= 1 amp/hr for a 12 volt system.at full power. So 30lb thrust motor should go about 6 hours at full power on a 180amp/hr battery(group 27). I weighed one once it was 55lbs.
  6. Well another year gone by,no records broken for me.Dry fly was good starting in April and continued into Nov.For the first time i was on the Bow when a good flying ant hatch happened.Of course i didn't have a good match but it was cool to see. How about you?

  8. All depends on how much$ if you want plain and cheap then a riveted Jon in 14-16' with a 40/30hp tiller is what is most common. You don't get much storage space and they row OK, nothing special. Anchors can be easily added by either running down the gunnel's with pulleys or threw the floor running the rope threw a hose. Rig your self up a pulley/davit off of the front.Foot releases are also easily built. If your looking for more, like dry storage and more HP. A welded boat is the next step ,wider and thicker bottoms more storage but these boats are heavy. So more HP is needed. Most would also be imposable to row. I would be looking south across the boarder, you should be able to find a good boat for a good price.
  9. Well since you have a 10wt rod you could pretty much use any reel.Pike are big but there not gonna test the drag. You need to test drive a few and see what weight of reel feels good to you on that rod.
  10. Here's one ,which direction is the horse looking?
  11. LOL heres a typical night at the Tungsten house hold
  12. Can't say I've ever seen a plow on my street. So IMO there spending way too much. What gets me is when you get to an intersection with ice all over it and a plow comes by full of sand and doesn't drop any of it.
  13. Very nice! The main reason for me anyways for tyeing on a size 20 is to keep it as small as possible so i avoid any metal beads to keep it small. You think tyeing them is a bitch now wait till your in your 40's and you can't see them as good, my advise is tie a couple thousand now so when you get old you won't have to do it lol.
  14. Ya i had an Ole Faithful, bought in 1992 Fenwick something or other with a nice click Diawa reel.Never failed me.Had some high 20's browns on it and few pike in the 20's also.Last seen sinking in the Bow But since then I've purchased a few different ones all a little lighter and nicer to cast,so maybe a blessing in disguise.Looking forward to having the ones i have now for a long time and probably making good use of the lifetime warranty. I don't have a pic of my old rod but i have some of my new ones.
  15. The trailer should come with a plate. Then you just change the owner info. I think.
  16. I gotta kick out of when he said that you have to make a lot of casts to fool these fish so they deserve a nice looking fly. Great video thanks for posting that Marc,
  17. You no I'm thinking maybe the Internets are maybe a little too difficult for you guys that can't post pics.Maybe you should try bowling or some other activity that may be a little easier for ya. Just say in..
  18. I don't see any counter weight,or is it one thats not suppose too spin? You must have small hands, theres no way my left mitt would fit in there to hold anything.
  19. I looked back 2 pages and i only see 1.You into the Christmas cheer already? Sometimes its just the way it is, when i first posted my Hatch reel all of a sudden theres 2 others for sale. Tungsten: wishes he had a ZXL.
  20. I would suggest new doors, MDF doors are what is normally used when painting them. There cut out of one piece wether you want shaker or raised panal so you won't see any seams like you would if you did the oak doors. I'm working out of town this week, when I get back I can come have a look if you want.
  21. i can't believe some of the #'s that I'm hearing.I think I'm in the wrong business. I purchased a new American Standard mid eff. 80,000 btu from a plumber friend at his wholesalers at $850 this was 3 years ago.I removed my old one and slid in the new one, of course the new one was about a foot shorter so i needed an adapter manifold to go from the new one to my old duct work.Any heating shop can make these for about $40.I did the gas and electrical myself but you should be able to hire a certified gas dude for an hour. All in my cost was under $1000.Maybe furnaces have gone up alot but $4500 for a new 1 even with plumbing in a new vent and exaust seams like someone is making some good money.
  22. Now thats some funny stuff right there! Welcome to the board Triploid you'll fit in well around here.
