Where are all the haters, it seems that since the flames have been playing extremly well after the break everyone is quite or is are they eatting crow?

If I get some time tonight I will take some photo's of the bunny strip leeches I have been ting this week. Also planning on ting up a bunch of Peacock leeches also tonight. Will post when I get some photo's tonight. Anyone got a good cdc caddis instructions since I have never used cdc before and need some help with it. Also I got some ting patterns for some klinickhammers but they are not that good, anyone got some instructions I could have to help me out.

Fishinghogdaddy: Okay I know I am going to get famed for this but here is what I would of done. As soon as the guy laied his hands on me I would of introduced him to five of my knuckles, I know violence doesn;t solve things but sometimes it is the only thing that is left espically when you aare backed into a cornor. Otherwise hopefully you got his licence plate # and call the police for the following reasons. 1. It is illegal to talk on your phone while you are a drive in a vechile 2. Reckless driving (Slamming on Breaks) 3. Assualt As for driving slowly there really isn't much you can do in a 50 zone as that is posted speed limit under ideal conditions, since there could be ice on the road he can always say he was unsure, which we all know is bullshit. What you need now is a nice brown on the end of your line about lets say 20 +++ inches. Just remeber that good things come to good people, sometimes it does not feel like that but it does happen.

Now I work in a big box retail store and have been doing this gig for almost 10 years now and I can come up with alot of reasons why the one guy in the fly fishing section disappeared (I am guessing short on staff and was on break - there should still be someone there to deter people from theft or to help out a customer) For the people in the Customer Service Section that was just disgusting, and there is absoultly no reason why this should of happened also the fact that the cashirer did not say anything was also disgusting, as I train my staff and alot of other people at the store I work at is the following. "Remove the paycheaque cause no one comes to work to not get paied, well maybe some people, but what is the reason to working in a retail store? It is to provide a service for someone." These cashiers or whoever they were could not even accoplish a fundamental concept as Service for customers and someone should complain to manager, gm or District or corprate head office, cause these things have to be fixed or there will always be problems. I do not like to styrotype but what I have seen over the last couple of years is that the younger generation just doesn't care anymore, I leave work sometimes wanting to bash my head into a brick wall because people just can't uderstand what Customer Service really is. Customer Service as I see it is making sure your customers have been talked to or at least knowladged that they are there and will be with them as soon as possible. Then you must be paitence and help the customer out to the best of your ability, if you can not help them out get someone that can, this is the key to customer service. I once went into another store for the same company I work for and pretended to be a customer to see what I could do to better my store that I work at and found service absoultly lousy, once I got a manager and told them whop I was where I worked and my position it was amazing how they jumpped and got me what I wanted, which of course is stupid cause if you are a ethical company then everyone regardless to who they are should be treated the same.) Now to finish off the guys in the hunting section I can see this happening (god knows I have done it by accident before) does it make it right, hell no, but it does happen espically when the higher ups tell you that you have to get it done. Just cause you got poor service from one store does not mean all the other stores are the same, still have faith and if things do not change then look for somewhere else.

For me I use real Peacock hurl, my grandfather for years raised pheasents and had peacocks that he also raised, so in otherwords I have a ton of peacock feathers (NOT FOR SALE) I do use the sythedic peacock hurl for my leeches and it is diffently one of my tops patterns that I use all year round. I find peacock is a great attractor for the trout, but the super fine dubbing works great also. Lets us know how they work out for you.

Gord, I missed that show as I was called into work on that day but I still think I can out drink you guys, or at least I put up a good show when you and scottie where in town. When you come let me know and hopefully we can get out and do some fishing, or I can show you how a real man drinks, lol Now back to the show, I usally do not go to the expo but this year I spent half a day ting flies at the FFC booth and had a ton of fun, got to talk to some old friends and meet some new people. As I see the expo for us Hardcore people it is more for us to **** chat with various shops, supplies, and manufactures, which is always intresting to see diffrent views from diffrent people.

Absoultly aswome, laughed my ass off, my fav part was the badass fish coming out of the water to eat the hopper, was it just me or was that a paraina (sp?)

Holy crap I actually look like I know what I am doing in the one photo. Just got the Dyna-King vise and lovin it once I learned how to use the the vise.

My loop jacket is by far the best jacket I have ever bought and is very durable, warm and rain proof, infact I was in a downpour and the rain just beeded up on it and ran off, all the zippers are water proof, and the cuffs of the sleves are velcro so you can do them up tight so no water gets down the sleve. I once had a william jospeh jacket that I gave away that was very durable and rain proof also, I think I spent $100 on it. On a side note I also purchase a sprey from Sport Check which seals jackets from the rain, and I highly suggest it. Be warned though when you sprey it you must give it a food 48 hours to let it set. Absoultly awsome stuff and I highly recommend it.

Censor what a great thing (Sarcasm) Here is a story for you. At my work we used to sell magazines, alot of them where technology related but we did carry a couple fitness magazine. Well we had a customer come into one of the stores and found the fitnesse magazines to be offensive (A girl on the front cover wearing a bikini) Long story short she threatened to take this to the media and our head office decieded that instead of having a huge problem they would just remove it from the shelfs and no long sell magazines.

Be safe when you are in the water, just like run off just cause you see nothing on the surface doesnt mean there is nothing there. I remeber one of my first years fishing in the winter I was standing in the water and then was knocked off my feet by a ice cunuck that was floating under the surface of the water. Mind you it wasn't that big and only bruised my ankles but it was diffently scary. Here is what I do when walking out on a ice shelf, when I start to walk out I bend my knees up and down to feel how much pressure the ice shelf can really handle if I feel any type of movement I do not go out. Beeing a big guy I have more weight on me then most pople, I have also been knowen to lightly jump up and down on the ice shelf (close to shore) to see how much weight the shelf can handle, then slowly go out further doing the samething. Regardless of what you do you are still putting your life in risk weather you are in the water or standing on a ice shelf. Also it does not hurt to carry a throw rope (I think that is what it is called) so if your buddy falls in you can race downstream throw the rope out have him grap it and swing him into shore. Please note that if you ever have to do this do not let the person in the water try and pull them selfs out as you can be dragged in too, let them swing into shore.

I work in a big box store and I would say a good portion of the customers that walk in are looking for deals or discounts on something. In my deparment that I run (Copy and Print Center) I would say a good portion of people that come in are asking for deals or discounts or trying to come up with some reason as to why they should get it cheeper, hence all the crap we must do now, ie: proofs, signatures on order forms, etc.. Its crazy the crap I handle on a daily basis with people wanting things as quick as possible but want to pay as little as possible, if you want it quickly then you gotta pay the express fees, then the customer says we are trying to rip them off. Technology Department almost everyone wants a deal, I can't go into our margins but in this area there is very little money that is made, reason why we sell these items is to bring the customer into the store. In the rest of the store people are always asking for discounts for bulk things, what people do not realize is that our prices are based off buying in bulk so we can offer lower prices, if we give more discount then we lose money so our prices then have to go up. So it is not just small business that people are asking for discounts from it is in every type of buiness. It is diffently a pet peeve of mine that people think just cause they are in a big box store they are getting ripped off by the prices.

Was surprised at first but after I thought about it I wasn't too surprised, in any pro sport when the team is doing very bad the GM or Head Coach is usally the first to go. I personally think Daryl Sutter is a much better coach then he is GM, but that is just my opion. I don't think you'll see much of a change, maybe some at trade deadline but nothing to big, lets be realistic here, we hear alot of time need faster younger players, so if we try to trade our Older players away at the trade deadline you think other teams are going to pick up a oldder slower player for draft picks? Unless the player is a superstar which I can only think of three maybe four players on Calgary that would fit into the catagory, then we will not get much, but that is just my own opion and who knows what will happen. I also think that there are some players that the flames must keep but of course there are alot that they can get ride of. Regardless to what happens with the flames I will always be a flames fan and will always cheer for them regardless to who is on the team or who is in charge or coaching, Flames Fan For Life.

It was a intresting idea I just have pictures in my head of the thing blowing up when landing, kind of reminds me of when a Turbo Jet boat hitting high rates of speed and lifting off the water only to crash.............

Had a fantasic dry fly season, fished with many people and had great experinces with everyone I went out with. Meet some new people and fished with some old buddies. Due to work I didn't get out as much as I have previous years but all was good.

unforntantly all that stuff is blocked by my head office so all I see is a small red x, damn it I can not even look at utube or facebook...... 2 more hours to go, been here since 6am doors opened at 8am and I have only seen a big whoopin 4 customers in my department.

Oh really, well that is diffently intresting, well I guess I will just have to hunt you down on the river and show you what a real ass kickin is all about, oh and by the way I'm not talking about fishin, hehehehehe On a off note we really need to get out one of these days and do some fishin, even though you are a oilers fan I'll let you get away with it once.

So I work retail and after boxing day my department has slowed down quite a bit to the point of me almost falling asleep at the computer. So if your like me and sitting at work with really nothing much to do then feel free to post, if you wish to tell me to shut my trap and be happy that I have a job, that also works. * Note: FFC is a great way to waste a couple of hours.

As a good friend of mine said, "I belive that sin years past the flames have started out very strong only to *hit the bed in the last half, Now that we *hit the bed in the first half maybe we will crush in the second half" Still a loyal flames fan and will still cheer for them no matter what. Last year and this year sure was a disappointment but I will take these two years instead of the 90's when we couldn't make playoffs for ten years. As I see it, it looks like the Flames are trying way too hard to win instead of just playin hockey, I could be wrong but after coach football for 11 years at diffrent age levels I would see this. I think the flames need to start playin hockey instead of winning games, the wins will come. Is it just me or are 90% of flames fans bandwagon jumpers? When they are playing good they are the best but when they are playin bad its time to change the whole entire team. For me I cheer for the flames regardless to who is on the team, I'm a loyal fan. Also I do not cheer for any other team, its all flames for me and nothing else.

I also thought I would have lots of time for this myself but between vacation and my staff quiting work seemed to take more of my time this year then normal. Hopefully I will be better shape come this spring to be able to particapate again. Sorry to everyone I was suppose to have matches against.
