  1. There was once a lion fighting a bull and when the bull charged the lion, the lion opened its mouth and swallowed the Bull. Feeling proud the lion let out a loud roar, when the lion roared the bull escaped and turned around and killed the lion. So in the end: When your full of bull its wise to keep your mouth shut
  2. I work that day, but I need to renew my license so I will be in some time.
  3. I'll row but I can't guarnetee that I will not kill you.....
  4. Actually when I was a kid living in the states I actually burnt down a old wooden bridge but roasting ants with a magnifie glass (The dry grass ended up going up in flames also), they ended up having to rebuild it, but I now get the other meaning to what I said.
  5. I'm going crazy here waiting for the dry fly to start up. And yes I do remeber the midges last year, and the pmds and the caddis and the stones.........
  6. Burnt bridges can always be repaired........
  7. That is one problem with the mountain streams, but there is a solution and it is programs such as Stream Watch. When law enforcement can make a presence in a area year after year, the offenders tend to not go there anymore, espically the poachers. Unforntantly programs such as StreamWatch needs fundings hence why an annual donation plus particiapating in fundraiser is very important. I remeber the first year for Stream Watch on the Oldman River, Me and Toolman (Neil happened to be there also) went up to Lethbridge for the Dinner and Auction (Three helpings of Alberta Beef was sure delicious) and had a great time. REMEBER TO SUPPORT ALL FUND RAISING THAT PUTS LAW ENFORCEMENT ON THE RIVERS, STREAMS, CREEKS, ETC... THAT WE ALL LOVE TO FISH.
  8. Since I know you are a cabniet maker, I am not surprise you would try and build something like that.
  9. If I know I am fishing a diffrent water system I try and remeber to clean my wading equipment, does it always happen, nope, but I do try and remeber. As for diddiemoe on the bow river, the only time I see it is just before high water, after that I do not see it, and what I do see is not that much, mostly in localize areas.
  10. No problem with the arm length, even when the cuffs are done up still fits nice. Really like my jacket, the deep pockets are perfect. Mine is two years old so I think (could be wrong) that they did change up some design.
  11. I atually have the 3xl loop jacket. I weight roughly 240lbs and can where the jacket with a hoodie on, mindful it is a big snug but not bad at all. Without the hoodie it is a perfect fit. Hopefully that works out for you.
  12. When life gives you lemons paint that *hit gold
  13. As I see it when you get video's that have a second video follow up the first is always a instructional video and the next couple then get away from the instructions. Look at hendrick's video's the first two were most instructional then anything, then it went into teachnique and fishin. Also I haven't watched many video's but is this Ed's first video, if so I can totally see why it was more instructional then anything else. Anyways for me I thought the first Skagit master was awsome (i'm a firm beliver that you can learn something from everyone, some people explain things diffrently that makes it eaiser for other, to think you have already seen everything is a little bit .........) Haven't watched the second one yet but plan on soon. Can't wait to see the next two that they are advertising on their web site (I belive they are in filming right now.) One last thing, with the sponsor advertising, I agree with Marc on this, if it wasn't for them then I highly doubt the film would of been made, and the compaines that ponny up the dollers deserves some advertising. Who remebers the first trout bumb video I mean the sponser advertising was absoultly crazy, even though I enjoy fishin the product I found it to be overwelming at times.
  14. Very nice fish guys. This is a photo of a brown I caught last Saturday. I am finding after 1 or 2 the fishin is picking up, haven't been out this week yet, but might sneek out after work.
  15. Chris, from this statement alone I would guess you need to lose some weight, lol, just kidding man.
  16. People say this is a fad, ha... My grandfather on my mother's side raised game birds for years in southern alberta (In a little town called Grassy Lake) and he always had people buying feathers for jerewry, infact haven't the indians been using feathers for a long time.
  17. Clive, WTF, I almost went blind from that, my god that was scary. But then again I should of knowen that would come out of a senile old man, that was waaaaaay too much time on his hands.
  18. What I have done in the past is get a flash light stick them in the waders then turn off the light, not sure how well this would work for tiny leaks but you chould be able to see it with the ligths turned off
  19. What the heck your not 116 years old Whe I get some time tonight I'll post what I have been ting.....
  20. Okay and I belive that, its only been 5 years now.
  21. Anyone that hasn't tried the original DTX what a treat these rods are. I casted them when Scott came to town and absoutlly fell in love with them. Saving all my hard earned pennies so I can buy one, can't wait to get my gresse hands on it. Also just thinking about this but the DTX line has two of the recent world distance champions, these rod are like menature rocks, flick the wrist and watch it shoot out.
