  1. No problem with the arm length, even when the cuffs are done up still fits nice. Really like my jacket, the deep pockets are perfect. Mine is two years old so I think (could be wrong) that they did change up some design.
  2. I atually have the 3xl loop jacket. I weight roughly 240lbs and can where the jacket with a hoodie on, mindful it is a big snug but not bad at all. Without the hoodie it is a perfect fit. Hopefully that works out for you.
  3. When life gives you lemons paint that *hit gold
  4. As I see it when you get video's that have a second video follow up the first is always a instructional video and the next couple then get away from the instructions. Look at hendrick's video's the first two were most instructional then anything, then it went into teachnique and fishin. Also I haven't watched many video's but is this Ed's first video, if so I can totally see why it was more instructional then anything else. Anyways for me I thought the first Skagit master was awsome (i'm a firm beliver that you can learn something from everyone, some people explain things diffrently that makes it eaiser for other, to think you have already seen everything is a little bit .........) Haven't watched the second one yet but plan on soon. Can't wait to see the next two that they are advertising on their web site (I belive they are in filming right now.) One last thing, with the sponsor advertising, I agree with Marc on this, if it wasn't for them then I highly doubt the film would of been made, and the compaines that ponny up the dollers deserves some advertising. Who remebers the first trout bumb video I mean the sponser advertising was absoultly crazy, even though I enjoy fishin the product I found it to be overwelming at times.
  5. Very nice fish guys. This is a photo of a brown I caught last Saturday. I am finding after 1 or 2 the fishin is picking up, haven't been out this week yet, but might sneek out after work.
  6. Chris, from this statement alone I would guess you need to lose some weight, lol, just kidding man.
  7. People say this is a fad, ha... My grandfather on my mother's side raised game birds for years in southern alberta (In a little town called Grassy Lake) and he always had people buying feathers for jerewry, infact haven't the indians been using feathers for a long time.
  8. Clive, WTF, I almost went blind from that, my god that was scary. But then again I should of knowen that would come out of a senile old man, that was waaaaaay too much time on his hands.
  9. What I have done in the past is get a flash light stick them in the waders then turn off the light, not sure how well this would work for tiny leaks but you chould be able to see it with the ligths turned off
  10. What the heck your not 116 years old Whe I get some time tonight I'll post what I have been ting.....
  11. Okay and I belive that, its only been 5 years now.
  12. Anyone that hasn't tried the original DTX what a treat these rods are. I casted them when Scott came to town and absoutlly fell in love with them. Saving all my hard earned pennies so I can buy one, can't wait to get my gresse hands on it. Also just thinking about this but the DTX line has two of the recent world distance champions, these rod are like menature rocks, flick the wrist and watch it shoot out.
  13. I for one do not think these will work at all, after all some dirty canadain named dave tied them, lol, j/k Dave always did like your ties, still waiting on my FLAMES fly in a shadow box for way back when I was knee high to a turttle.
  14. Shhhhhhhh your letting out my secerts........... By the way that head looks like a permit, even though I realize it is not, it reminds me of a permit.
  15. My god the head the most ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life.

    Bully Flies

All I do is tie rabbit strip leeches (Just the wrap of the rabbit strip - magnum strips works the best but can use the zonker strips) I also tie them on a #2 streamer hook and lead wrap it. Even though I haven't caught a big bully yet I do fish with people that have and am told to use the following colors, white, black, and peach. I have tied some purple, green, yellow, and orange. Hope that helps out some, when I get home from work I'll post some photo's.
  18. Other then BassPro I cant see anywhere beeing cheeper other then buying online. Personally I pick up 90% of my stuff from Fish Tales and find their prices about the same as any other place. I do find that if I pick up someting from WSS or BPS I tend to get more damage feathers and what not. I do not think this is WSS or BPS fault but more to do with buying in bulk and shipping. When I first started buying material I didn't really look at what I was buying but instead just grabbed, this changed after getting a couple of crap packages of phesant tail, now I check everything, short of opening up the package, and usally do not get any bad material. But if cheeper prices are what you are looking for then I would say go online, I hear you can find really good prices, me personally, my next door neibour hunts so there are some feathers I don't pay for anymore.
  19. Sweet ties dude. Personally I have only been ting for 2 years, so haven't tied any extended bodies myself but very intresting.....
  20. Happy Birthday old man..........
  21. Hey brain, you said for a smooth and consitance cast to use a shotgun lift, why not a cresent lift?
  22. Spoken like a true eskimo fan.... Anyways it should be a good game not as good if it was Calgary vs Edmonton, that would of made a great Hertigae classic game.
