Well I have had some ****ed up *hit happen when playin Ball (Football) One that hurt quite a bit and still bother me to this day was when I took a facemask in the bicep and dislocated my shoulder (Did I forget to metion I dislocated my shoulder when it did a complete wrasp around) My should was so far out of place that the ambulance driver was commenting how my arm looked like a piece of rubber. The next year I dislocated it again at the end of the season (needless to say this was my last year I played) but when I was in the ambulance they were like we should pop this in now so no muscles slide into the rotater cuff and get caught in there. So they wrapped a wet towel around my dislocated should and one paramedic took one arm the other took the other arm and they braced themselves and slowly pulled me like a turkey wishbone till the shoulder went popin back in place. I also took another facemask in the ribs (was blitz through the line and got blind sided by a pulling guard) broke 5 ribs. Riding a dirt bike a whipped out and took the footpegs across my leg, tore the jeans open and left me with a 1 inch by 1 inch gash across my leg. Should of gone to the hospitial for some stiches but did not :0( Not as sick as some of the other one, was out fishin one day with max and I set the hook on a pig bow when all max heard was a loud popin noise and me swearing afterwards, I was like, *hit my shoulders out, the whole arm is basically useless and I am trying to grip onto my rod, long story short, I switched hands pop the shoulder in and landed the bow.

How come whenever I see something like this in person or on a vid that there is some sort of aholic beverage close by? I remeber a few years back when I was enjoying a day out at Nature's Hideaway we were sitting at the bench by the pathway that lead to the top of the jumpin cliff and some drunk comes staggering by falls into the bench, where we had all of our raps and what not (yup back in the day I use to be a spin caster) and put a treble hook (two out of three hooks) through his leg. Man we were like you should go to hospital (never knew a way to take out a barbed hook) and get it checked out. Well the stumblin fool was like nah I am man and I can pull it out. Well lets just say after he pulled it out he had to go the the hospital anyways for stiches. What a dumbass.

My grandfather a few years back had a Phesant Farm out in Grassy Lake, and my mother had a huge selections of diffrent feathers, well untill recently, What a diffrence there is using REAL Peacok Feathers and some of the other color feathers I have been experimenting with, only thing is my mother is starting to notice that key feathers are not in abundance like she use to have.

I would agree with what doc said 100%. It could also be were you are position on your chair, if your back not straight then there is unnessassary tension in your back. Maybe look at getting a better chair.

Lindsey, get use to running out of supplies all the time, it seems to be something that always happens to me. Yesterday I threw my scisers across the room cause I was out of #16 hooks, and cursed myself for not knowing better and picking some up since I tend to go through #14 and 16 like crack.

Well since I am one year more experinced with the Two hander I thought I would get other peoples thoughts on what their fav set up was this year. For me I enjoyed using my 11' 6 6/7 weight Beluha with my 9 Pulse Hatch reel, and my 32 foot 380grain (I could be wrong on the line weight) Scandi line. For chucking Cats and dogs I diged using my 12' 6 7/8weight TFO Pro with my Pluegher Prisendent reel and my 21foot 480grain compact skagit line.

Here the thing, even if you fall into say 1 fot of water you risk hypothermai (sp) here is what I suggest. 1. NEVER GO TO THE EDGE OF THE ICE, IN MY EXPERINCE THIS IS THE MOST FRAGIAL AREA 2. I START AT THE EDGE AND SLOWLY MAKE MY WAY OUT BOUNCING UP AND DOWN (NOTE: MY FEET ARE NOT LEAVING THE GROUND AND SINCE I WEIGH ABOUT 250LBS I THINK IF I DO THIS CHANCES ARE ICE NOT GOING TO BREAK) ANOTHER THING IS WHILE WALKING ON ICE SEE IF YOU CAN FEEL THE ICE MOVE UP AND DOWN, IF SO DON'T BOTHER GOING AWAY ELSE AND GET OFF THE ICE AS IT COULD BREAK. AS A GENERAL RULE I DON'T REALLY GO OUT ON THE ICE, EXCEPT TO LAND FISH, AND WITH ME USING THE SPEY I CAN GET MY CASTS OUT THERE. REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU DO PLAY IT SAFE, IF YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE DANGEROUS CHANCES ARE IT IS.

LOL, I guess I should of been more clear, I just realized what I said, what I meant to say is that I filled the tub up with water, and while wearing some clothing I tok some photo's to test out the underwater option the Olyumpus Stylus 850SW has. -
The ice is ice down south, if you do some walking and find some holes that are nice and deep then you might get lucky and find some trout, just please remeber to be cautious and safe while walking on the ice.

Open Water In Calgary...dangerous Ice Conditions

I have had simliar problems with the guard at the main gate, one day I forgot my license with all my main stuff and he wasn't going to let me fish in the lake without it, until I got someone from the office to come out and say I didn't need one for a private lake. As for the rain and ice conditions I don't mind it too much as it is good to see someone looking for me as beeing in a rain storm with lightning those tin boats they have there might be a death trap, and I would hate to be the person that said yeah go ahead and go ice fishing and then have someone fall in and die. -
Gotta love the humbuckers

Not really sure how you could fence that area off under the inn its a pretty big area and 50 yards out from under the inn is soild ice. I remeber one year takin my GT snowracer and going down the hill at like mac 1 and shooting out across the frozen beach and out on the lake. -

Dune, I went by the lake office (Lake Bonavista) and asked them about this after I read you reply a couple of days ago and was told that if I wanted to go out onto the ice I could but they were not resposable for anyone falling into the lake, hence all the signs around that say DANGER THIN ICE. I remeber as a kid I use to always go out undernether the inn and one of us would always fall in, man where we ever stupid. As for the Xmas crowd I guess that is why they flood the basketball rink. I personally can't skate as I am warm blooded and maybe wore skates once or twice in my life. -

I would have to say one of the best trips I had all year was beeing able to fish at palmer ranch with Gregg (Toolman) his brother Bob, Clive, and Al. Had many other fun adventures and was happy to meet some new people. I did have some very happy times (going out to victoria to see an extremly good friend get married) but was also hit with some bad times, Losing my grandfather on my brithday and having to go to a funeral for a good friend, but as max would say to me, WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS..... PAINT THAT *hit GOLD. -
Didn't get much for christmas but sure did work a crap load, I think I clocked in like 30+ hours in 3 days, however I did like many people here purchase a Olympus Stylus 850SW a week ago as a christmas present for myself as I do take a crap load of photo's for all my buddies, now its time to get some under water shots, yeeee haaaaaw.
