  1. 1.6 Billion worldwide so far.. only $400 Million more to beat titanic (note: only in 5th week)
  2. Yeah Quality thread and Bobbin = No broken Thread (But I find 8/0 wayyyyy to thin...I think I'm to heavy handed)
  3. If we were more "Na'vi-like" maybe we wouldn't have to worry about this "Global Warming" problem (specifically directed at SundanceFisher )
  4. You Lucky SOB, great shots. Drew
  5. OOO yeah, if Calgary plays Chicago in the first round, we are SCREWED!
  6. I agree, the Edmonton rivalry is weak, but for some reason the Edmonton fans seem to think it is still competitive...that's like saying the Washington vs. Carolina/ Maple leafs rivalry is strong. I think Vancouver is gonna be tough this year, especially in the playoffs. Calgary really does need to get there act together on the PP, it's pathetic AGAIN (just like last year). If Calgary wants success in the playoffs and not another early exit they are gonna need stellar Goaltending, strong special teams and consistent secondary scoring. Go FLAMES!
  7. I say "suck it up Kopitar".... It's Hockey not curling.
  8. It's settled then, I'm tagging along during your next steelie trip up to Smithers! you bastards...lol. I was there 5 days and never landed 1. But hey... that's what keeps us coming back. Great vids. Drew
  9. Regarding the football game, 3 downs or 4 ...?
  10. Yeah, Ive seen it 3 times now...lol. I'm aiming for 5 times before it out of the theater. The second time I watched it i actually brought my glasses so my vision was 20/20 and it made the Movie even better. Cameron is my kinda film maker!
  11. bhurt....dude..... you HAVE to watch it in 3-D. dish out the $15.50.... you won't regret it.
  12. Here is a link that should help: REPAIR
  13. Very Short list: Redington Crosswater 9' 2 piece 8 wt St. Croix Premier 9' 4 piece 5 wt That's it! Working on getting a Spey in the next few months.
  14. I'd say its fine for kids. The language is pretty clean, with very few swear words. People die in the action sequences, but you see that kinda stuff in Saturday morning cartoons these days. The lineups are what you would expect on X-mas with a great movie. I'd say arrive at least 1 hour in advance, and add 30 min to that if you watch it in 3D (which you should definitely do). Of course the earlier you go, the better seats you will get.
  15. If you haven't seen this movie yet, GO WATCH IT! If you like Sci-Fi, Action, amazing visuals, love story, and pretty good story.... this movie is for you. I'd say it's ALMOST as good as "Aliens", Cameron's 2nd best movie ever. I give it 9.5/10
  16. I believe it is a King. Nice pics! Drew
  17. Awesome shots, amazing detail.
  18. He has no lips!
  19. Just some memorable moments of Oh 9! Hope it helps. I love Caddis Hatches! I remember saying... oooo *hit. ahhhh the Babine
  20. Want to get rich??? Create a bumper sticker that reads: "People are Stupid" you will sell millions! lol
  21. Thanks for all the suggestions! I would love to try out a few different rods and have a little FFC gathering down in Fish Creek or somehere on the river. Maybe when the next chinook hits because it looks like the next week at least will be nice and chilly. Drew
  22. That might be a good idea. I see what most people are saying, the range is to broad... I tend to agree. Maybe I should just go for the 8wt salmon/ steelie rod and maybe look at a 6 wt spey later down the line for the bow. Thanks for answering the switch question, thats what i thought it was, but just wanted confirmation. I've been searching online for rods in that price range, and each manufacturer seems to have a couple near that $$$. The manufacturer listed above seem to have more than a few in the $3-400 range. I like the prospects of being able to cast larger flies, longer distances without getting the excessively sore shoulder syndrome (ESSS...lol) thanks for the input so far.
