  1. Chris... Mine doesn't fit within your scale as it was 25.5" so do we call it 25 or 26?! LoL P
  2. Really Chris!! I'm pretty sure they don't have them in your size!! P
  3. I'm not sure they will replace Deb's wading boots, but nonetheless, I'll bid $25 on # 27!! P P.S. I think they'd look better on BBT, though
  4. I'm wondering if after you fill with concrete if you can get them rubber coated (not sure what that would cost) b/c I'm pretty sure rust will be an issue (not with disintegrating them, but the likely mess they would make in the back of the vehicle)... Either way, nice job! I'd take one off your hands (I'd evaluate it for you )!! P
  5. How much do they weigh (with and with out the concrete)? Oh and are they stainless steel/galvanized, etc. or will they rust? Thanks, P
  6. Just tell them that there has been a lot of car b & e's in the neighborhood, worked for me a few weeks ago, they replaced the bulb toot sweet!! P
  7. As if the all the riff raff, quaders, etc. wasn't bad enough!! A sad day indeed!! P
  8. I was fishing on Friday near an area I like to fish on a regular basis (as the regular run I like, already had a couple of anglers in it)... Across the river was a older gentlemen and we were chatting back and forth (as both of us landed fish regularly). He was on the west side and it's normally quite busy (he was there before I even arrived). Through out the course of the next several (3) hours... About 12 other people (both gear and fly) anglers would just step in either above him or below him - but all really close (interesting that none of them landed anything). He just quietly fished either above them or below them and did not say anything ... Towards the end of the day (late afternoon) I finally had to bring it up as I was quite shocked... "interesting that not one person asked if you would mind if they fished near you" I yelled across to him... He just said yeah, shook his head and left it at that... I guess it didn't bother him too much... I'm glad no one else was on my side of the river, but then again, that's why I fish the places I do (similar to what Rick had mentioned)... Though it still bothered me to be witness to this!! P
  9. Nice work Neil! Cheers! P
  10. I'll start the bidding on # 18 (Crowsnest Adventure) with $150. P
  11. Rick the real winner is The Alberta Streamwatch Program! Congrats to everyone that won thus far and thanks for donating both in kind and $! You're supporting a great cause! For those of you (yes you know who you are) that fish all the small streams around Southern Alberta, you have an obligation to support this (bid on my pie, we gotta beat all those those cake loving SOB's! )! P
  12. There is a parts place next to UPS on 19th NE (I think). Have always been able to get appliance parts for me... I can try to find some receipts to get the name if you'd like... P
  13. Gee Rick, sounds like you don't wanna fish with me P
  14. Does Dacron degrade after be soaked and stored over long periods of time... I mean how many of us dry our lines and our backing? Does backing rot? P
  15. Nets... Chris/Rick... How many nets are available and what size? Also is there a minimum bid? P
  16. Ok all you pie guys! Don't let the others have their cake and eat it too!! The Stream Watch program isn't a cake walk so shut your pie hole and get bidding! It's as easy as pie! Peter P.S. Remember, "apple pie without cheese, is like a hug without a squeeze"!!
  17. You don't go into specifics as to why you hate your Redington? If it's a case of how it "feels" or "casts" then maybe you need to under/over line it or try and "balance" it properly?! Spending ~$80 on another line may save you $500 - $600 in the long run. Also, there are a couple of 5 wt & 6 wt rods on the trading post thread that might do the trick, as well... You don't need to spend a lot of $ on a rod to enjoy... If you are catching fish with a lower end rod, you are still catching fish... P
